The Democrats Should Keep Impeaching Trump…

…and the Republicans should draw it out as long as possible. Let the Democrats impeach Trump even after he leaves office. Let them impeach him dozens of times. Impeach him for tweeting! Impeach him for getting an extra scoop of ice cream! Impeach him for his hair! Have them spend weeks just passing more and more impeachment resolutions.

You see, every second the Democrats try to impeach Trump is a second they are not working on their absolutely horrible legislative agenda. It’s the equivalent of people screaming at the sky, and will be obvious to normal folks. The more the Democrats resemble a toddler screaming in a tantrum with a loaded diaper, the less people will take them seriously. “Whaaah! Orange man is a poopy-head!” is not a winning slogan.

    I dig.

And have them investigate things like . . .
–what Trump said at the rally,
–which social media platforms the Jan. 6 jerks planned things on,
    –election fraud allegations,
–and all the other stuff relating to the recent covfefe.

And outlaw the color orange while we are at it. It’s not red, it’s not yellow, it’s just straddling the line and, without it, Trump is colorless. Oh, and pass a law for the tide to stop, King Canute was just a fragile white guy, time somebody showed him up.

Each Republican Senator needs to call the maximum number of witnesses and the maximum number of questions of each witness.   The kind of question that requires a long, detailed answer rather than “Yes” or “No”.

Except that Dems will be running the show and limiting Republican power to call more than 2 witnesses per session and the time limit to keep things moving will be 30 seconds each.

If an ex-president can be impeached, does that mean that dead presidents can also be impeached? Can we dig up, say Grover Cleveland or Woodrow Wilson or Teddy Roosevelt? FDR would be a ripe* target. Maybe we can even do another round on Andrew Johnson! BTW, does the body need to be present?

    *no pun intended, but then…

I can hear it already. The individual agencies will claim that since the documents are “Portion-Marked”, not everything was covered by Trump’s declassify order. They’ll insist on reviewing each document and slow-walking everything. Trump should have done this months ago if he had a real desire to get the information out. We’ll never see the info unless it’s mostly redacted.

All the Senate needs to do is convict one time and then vote to disqualify Trump.  Right now, among the 50 Republican Senators, there need to to be 17 votes for conviction along with the Democrat 50 votes for conviction.

According to the Washington Post, there are 12 Republican Senators who are open to conviction, and 18 who are unknown on this issue for a subtotal of 30.  (20 Republican Senators are opposed to conviction.)  So all we need are 17 Republican Senators from the 30 Republicans Senators, of whom 12 are open to conviction and the 18 whose positions are unknown.

As good a way as any to destroy the GOPe. And the sooner that’s done, the better. See Rand Paul’s comments. Comment #18.

Do you actually want the democrats to proceed with their agenda?  I don’t think Reagan would be fond of the Green New Deal or anti-American advocacy.  I’m advocating impeachment as a distraction, not actually giving the democrats a win.  I want the democrats to fail in everything that they do.  “We win, they lose.”

If average GOP members actually agree with you, there’s no point, since Trump can not win again.  If average GOP members  like Trump, then actually barring him from office will only split the party.  Or is a purge what your are aiming at?
