Anyone Else Standing in the Way?

I always thought this was one of the most powerful memes Trump put out, because it very accurately reflected what I felt. Yesterday, I listened to a conservative Black man say he just registered as a Democrat. I’m not sure he did, but his point was: it was less dangerous, less risky, you could fly under the radar. Better to be thought a dumb black Democrat, than a Black Trump supporter.

I have deactivated Facebook and requested that my account be deleted permanently (it takes 30 days to delete). I am fearful that my pro-Trump posts will be used against me. AIG just terminated Curt Shilling’s insurance because of his pro-Trump stance. Who will stop the mob when they come for us? The Left is loudly applauding the delisting, the doxxing, the blackballing of all Trump supporters. Don Lemon doubles down on his statement that all Trump supporters are Klansmen and Nazis. My coworker’s son publicly posted that all Trump supporters should be punched in the face.

Is there anyone else who will stand in the way when they come for us?

Leftists say horrible insults against people on the Right.  White people are called Nazis and racists all the time.  Blacks are called “race traitor”, which I think is much worse.  There is a special place in hell for race baiters.  Joe Biden is one of the worse.

As for the cancel culture, states have the power to outlaw the practice like they do in Europe.  Contact your state representative today.  I asked my state senator yesterday to outlaw the practice of deplatforming without specific explanation as happened to Dr. Ron Paul.  I am thinking that very large social media sites should be forced to have a banner on pages saying “This censors contested statements.”, if they ban posts based on fact-checking.

I also hit the delete forever button on FB this week, mostly to walk away from the anger I saw and the anger I felt in response. Most Friends on my FB feed are on the Left, sharing an interest in contra dance and music. Debates with those friends were always polite, but useless. I can do with one less occasion for sin. I guess it’s also good to reduce my chances of being surprised by the next black ball.

I would say at the moment there are very few people standing in the way. At least, very few that are in positions to actually do anything about it. The left is taking an event that was terrible (though not as simple as it’s being presented in the media) and using it to solidify power and cast every opponent as some kind of insurrectionist. We’re just at the beginning of the left reaping the harvest of “punch a Nazi” that started years ago and they’ve finally reached the obvious conclusion that we’re all Nazis.

The big question is, how deep do they go? Do they stop at Republican politicians and high profile conservatives or do they extend it to the average citizen? We’re going to have to wait and find out. However, if there isn’t someone to stand between us and them, then it just means that 70 some odd million people are going to have to stand together for ourselves.

edit: Lot of grammatical errors, I’ve only had one cup of coffee…

To have liberty, you have to defend it, and nobody is doing that right now. Which is why I’m never voting for or supporting a Republican ever again.

Ultimately we are going to have to be the ones standing in the way, or we have to practice the Benedict Option and withdraw.   Unfortunately we are it.  There are no champions.  We are going to have to do the dirty and costly work of standing up for ourselves and our neighbors.   It will be costly.  We stand to loose much; however, there isn’t any other option.

Church Militant is standing in the way.  Ray told me that they have their own hard broadcast studio, and their non-profit is St. Michael’s Media.  They are located in Michigan, and are Catholic.  Take a look at some of their YouTube broadcasts before they are removed.  I am not Catholic, but they are excellent and deserve support.

Dan Bongino is standing in the way.  RushBabe49.com is standing in the way, until deleted by WordPress.

In fact, the states controlled by RepubliCAN’Ts actually have the power to immediately end this assault by giving each citizen of their state the right to sue for political/ideological viewpoint discrimination, with large punitive damages and attorney’s fees. We have the power to break these leftist billionaires in months. Any delay, under any pretext, is a lie and proof of collusion with corporations and political operatives that hate you.

I suspect your co-worker’s son wouldn’t be willing to throw that punch were he standing in front of your average Trump supporter. Deal with bullies the way we always have: head on, and let the chips fall where they may. I won’t be silenced, or intimidated and we need to remember that we outnumber them, by a lot, even though they refuse to believe it’s true.

Why on earth would you say this? There are many ways to vote that do not entail voting Republican or Democrat.

And if Republicans want our votes, they need to represent our interests. They have the organization and influence to do something about election fraud, but they need to have their feet held to the fire in order to do something about it. If they are punished at the polls because their former supporters withdraw support, they’ll have to reconsider their platforms.

Before declaring party allegiance and acting on it in any election the only rational move is to consider the relative options. Feelings should have only a minor role in voting, and then only when the options are otherwise roughly equivalent.

I deleted my Instagram account. I’m sick of these tenuous virtual associations; on Instagram I followed accounts like this couple in a tiny town in England who was restoring their little cottage on their own with lots of before and after photos. Then suddenly the account was taken over by concerns about BLM, structural racism in the U.S. etc. I repeat: they live in the middle of nowhere. No longer was it possible to just admire home DIY projects; you got an earful of their virtue-signaling as well.

Part of me feels like we should all stand firm and not quit our accounts, just to make them miserable. However being online feels like being enveloped in a woke tsunami, even if there are 75 million+ others who actually feel the same way I do and feel dejected, to say the least.

I second that. I find it remarkable that the liberals who opt to leave states like CA don’t make a connection between their liberal views and the crappy state government that they are leaving. So when they arrive in Texas, for example, they continue to vote the same way they voted before, thus turning the state purple. The lack of introspection is remarkable.

Folks, these people are totalitarian.  If they don’t change we have no choice.   Let’s remember that Eastern Europe, with the Soviet Army still among the most powerful and ruthless in the world, they all just broke off and Eastern Europe governments collapsed.  Far harder for them.  What kind of economy did they have, what was promised, what would the Soviets do or their own organized communist dominated military and police.   None of us knew.   We in the west hadn’t a clue and reacted with caution, experts saying it could take years and could be cracked down on at any moment.  It was days. We should begin thinking along similar lines.  If sane Democrats don’t get a handle on the far left.  If the Democrats begin opening borders and letting the mobs flow, and open their arms to the Chinese we have to act.  It means they’re in the hands of the totalitarians.  How much of the Federal government will we miss? How much of our burden is necessary.  If we allow ourselves to be subdued by China, peacefully, openly, definitively, what difference does it make that we temporarily become dangerously weak as we rearrange our military obligation and foreign policy. the only fundamental reason we created the union in the first place.

We’re dealing with totalitarians folks.   They just need the rest of us to go along.  Going along means allowing them to close it all down, which it seems, they’re doing rather successfully already.   Making noise through limited channels doesn’t mean much.

The Democrats are going to keep power whether I vote or not. Republicans putting election fraud on the agenda for 2022 doesn’t cut it with me, that ship has long since sailed. I’m not operating under the illusion that anything that’s going on right now is normal.

Simple answer is no. There is no one standing in the way any longer.

News flash. The election wasn’t stolen. The hard left has 30% of the population fully behind them and have browbeaten, frightened, and socially blackmailed another 25% into submission.

If it wasn’t for COVID-19 and the implementation (sometimes unconstitutionally) of universal mail in voting, only 1/2 of the 25% would have voted at all and Trump might have won.

The answer is to build more channels. Parler is having to start from scratch and create its own servers. Fortunately there are a lot of billionaires in this world as pissed of as we are and eager to fund a product with built in demand.

This kind of legislation would likely violate the 1st Amendment, not to mention the nightmare of trying to actually adjudicate such claims.
