Not My Governor

I hope readers will forgive the misleading headline of this post, but I figure Americans need to laugh to keep from crying.

Let’s get to it: the events of last week in Washington DC are seared into our memory. How those knuckleheads made it into the Capitol Building in the first place is beyond me – and yet another reason why we need to vote them all out.

I’m appalled that “Q-Anon shaman” has entered America’s political lexicon. What’s next, “Reverend Al Sharpton?”

We’re at the point now where the closest thing to unity Americans can reasonably hope for is if MAGA and BLM agree to burn down the Supreme Court building together.

The whole country is going to hell in a handbasket. When the mayor of Portland isn’t getting sucker-punched in a restaurant, he’s awarding residents the key to what remains of his city.

Meanwhile, California Governor Gavin Newsom is working overtime to ensure that the initiative to remove him from office continues to gain momentum. Newsom’s special brand of magic is his Herculean out-of-touch-edness, for example, stating that he’d be spending his $600 check on an appetizer at The French Laundry. His latest green energy initiative even calls on Californians to limit ventilator use during peak hours.

Can anybody really keep up with the current news cycle? The Nashville bombing seems like ages ago. At least the city coroner provided some closure in stating that the bomber died of Covid. The last I read the FBI was interviewing his girlfriend. His girlfriend. What they should be investigating is how he managed to acquire a girlfriend in the first place.

But as the old saying goes, we’ll always have the kooks. From what I’ve gathered from news reports, the bomber’s correspondence revealed a belief in lizard people, UFOs, and Keynesian economics.

We are currently going through the most tumultuous era in American politics in my lifetime. So with that in mind, I think it only appropriate to conclude with a photo of the Man America Needs Right Now: Ken Bone.

I heard Gov. Newsom’s recent defense of the California business climate, and my first thought was “the drug abuse problem out there is worse than I thought.”

Recent SF Chronicle article detailed that at over 620 plus OverDose deaths in San Francisco, as compared to 178 COVID deaths, there is  lot going on in terms of formerly sober people turning to drugs.

I’m not sure GavinNewsom is one of the formerly sober, as he has been whack for as long as I have followed reports about him.

David Icke’s description of lizard people initially involved how the idea that reptilian species from other planets is perhaps the only way to explain the overwhelmingly horrendous agendas that the earth’s PTB continually foist on the public. Although I don’t subscribe to his theory, things do get so bad from time to time, it does seem like one possible theory on how we got to the insanity where we have arrived.

Sad, but true. And it won’t be unexpected.

Referring to the “California business climate” is kind of a non-sequitur. Like referring to “the moon’s business climate”.

I think Q idiots and BLMtifa “wargamed” on Jan 6 while Pelosi and McConnell were sharing their popcorn.

Meanwhile, Chinese Spies can work in peace while the nation turn attention onto Nancy Pelosi.
