Be Glad You’re Not My Neighbor
This year almost everyone in our little ‘hood has gone above and beyond with Christmas lights and decorations. I’ve posted some of my son-in-law’s efforts before; he did a light show at our home for the past two Christmases and another that was COVID-themed back in the spring.
One evening last year I took my granddaughters out for a drive to look at Christmas lights; upon returning the driveway was blocked by a car. I got out and had a lovely chat with the occupants. They were from Lebanon. The driver told me that his brother was in America for the first time, so he brought him to our house to understand Christmas. And because it was the halcyon days of pre-COVID, we all shared a hug.
Some nights we have lines of cars to catch a viewing; thankfully (for our neighbors) the music is streamed through your car radio. But there’s been a few nights when we’ve heard a few (who have probably had a few) belting out Let It Go at the top of their lungs. The entire show lasts about 40 minutes; this is what I’ve managed to capture.
Wow.
You’re tame compared to some I know.
That’s wonderful!
Merry Christmas to you too. :-)
I just love it!
Thanks!
Very cool! Thanks for sharing it!

I’m not often jealous about someone else’s Christmas lights, but I am now. That was awesome
I finally caught a bit of this on video. I was too much of a wimp to put a Trump sign on my lawn, but I am glad son-in-law included this song:
