Do We Need the Great Reset?
The folks at the World Economic Forum and whatever confabs Bill Gates is sponsoring this week will all be playing rather cynical word games about the “COVID-19 Crisis” and its impact on the “most vulnerable”. There will not be the slightest acknowledgment that it was the destructive and ineffectual government actions and not the virus (much less the defects of capitalism) that caused the greatest share of the damage. Instead, the current buzz is that COVID-19 showed us that people could be made to drastically adjust their living, working, and consumption patterns in a very short time frame if the government just chooses to make them do so.
And as is typical of grand policy-making concocted by the elite, the non-elite invariably get screwed.

It is truly stunning that spectacularly unscientific, hideously costly, racially and socioeconomically disproportionate government actions are seen by some as proof for a need to expand the role of government because it was the “capitalist system” that failed in the COVID crisis.
We watched “capitalist” entities rapidly adapt in many ways from food delivery to the speed of vaccine development whereas governments across the globe adopted a failed approach in March, set it in concrete and most are still unable to adapt to what a growing abundance of data tells us about what the policy should be regarding closures, schools, and protection of the most vulnerable. Who is it again that needs a “reset”?
South of my Maryland home down in Washington, DC, murders are up, opioid deaths are way up and unemployment is up in a town that is supposed to be recession-proof due to the presence of the federal government; and it is hourly wage workers getting hammered. Higher COVID death rates and a disproportionate economic hit for the African-American non-elite is happening.
DC may even cost their students more than a full year of schooling due to the lingering effects of the unwarranted school closures.
DC schools are 90% Black and Latino and some schools are overwhelmingly low income so guess where those kids fit on the chart.
The federal workforce (“work”) has been on paid remote-work status for eight months, so tens of thousands of daily customers for DC shops and restaurants have literally disappeared as have many or most of those businesses along with the jobs that they provided. The contractors and suppliers who maintain office buildings, computer systems, supply paper and pens, support copiers and phones, paint, and remodel are all laying off employees in droves.
The Metro rail and bus system has suffered a 90% drop in revenues and now have a $400-500 million shortfall. Metrorail will no longer run on weekends. Several stations are closed to reduce the number of workers needed to operate them. If someone using the system still has a job with weekend hours (like at a hospital, maybe), tough.
Using the eyeball test, more than half of downtown DC storefronts are boarded up. This DC restaurant website now functions more like an obituary page, listing restaurants killed by the government mandates. In addition to restaurant staff, the job losses are similar for suppliers, drivers, and many other vendors. The commercial property market is cratering. Firms are bailing on copier maintenance contracts and coffee machine suppliers. Jobs related to maintenance, security, and remodeling have declined.
And in passing, one of the most depressing items I’ve read concerning COVID-19 developments elsewhere in the world is that the UN estimates that in some of the poorest nations as many as 50% of girls will not return to school once schools re-open but will be forced into early marriage or low-wage work instead as families dig out of newly worsened poverty.
None of this was due to a really bad flu so much as some really bad policies which also failed to combat that flu.
We will be told repeatedly by those who control most of the media that this crisis means that there must be a Great Reset of capitalism in favor of taking power away from stockholders (and also even from workers and customers) and putting it into the hands of a vaguely defined set of “stakeholders.” Precisely because the definition is too amorphous and malleable to identify who they are, these stakeholders will naturally need the enlightened ones to speak for them.
The same left-of-center high-income people who are quick to declare that anything with a“disparate impact” is racist appear to be oblivious to the disparate impact of imposing their sensibilities on the world. They now want to do even more damage now that COVID power-abuse has provided them with a blueprint. Racist bastards, all of ‘em.

In a decent society, the information you are bringing forth would now be in every newspaper in the USA, if not in the daily news, but then certainly in the Weekend Magazine supplements.
But we lost our Fourth Estate 20 years ago.
It is irrelevant whether we need the Great Reset or not. It is a mechanism which will destroy the middle class and bring about a further re-establishment of the One Percent.
To accomplish it in full, there has been a gradual teaching to the progressive side of the political aisle, that in the coming Brave New World, peace, justice and prosperity will come to all, as all will receive a universal annual income, with no need to trouble yourself to gt out of bed.
There has also been the teaching that it is necessary to destroy what exists to various ends, including the idea that nothing should remain that has come about from the evil the white humans have done repeatedly to all others.
The public heard the same promise about liberty equality prosperity and fraternity back in Paris in 1789, and in Moscow in 1917. Then in China when MaoTse Tung was ushered in.
It has been in the works for at least a decade. Back in 2009, after learning from their failure to bring it about over a flu that ended up not being properly Over Hyped, the Overlords of the World Economic Foundation, Bill Gates and the Rockefeller Foundation decided they would not make that mistake twice.
All the pieces of the puzzle were in place except one: the popular vote of Election 2020. The only chance we had to delay this Reset was to have Donald Trump re-elected. Although I think he still would have slow walked us into it, just not Usain Bolted us into it at hyper speeds.
Perhaps we should stop saying “elite” and instead say “ruling class”: Arrogance, ignorance, callousness, and all that.

Earlier this year, there was a damn good reason. We had a new virus on the scene from an unknown origin. We knew it was Chinese, but the suspicion was it got out of a Chinese bioweapons lab. That’s scary. As time wore on, we learned more and more facts until we got to a decision point: ease up on restrictions or double down. Freedom-loving governments (usually red states) relaxed or stopped their restrictions. Blue states started to ease up, but the moment an uptick in cases or deaths occurred, they clamped back down with a vengeance. But The Great Reset (TGR) is a whole other issue. The virus has managed to accelerate the plans to totally transform the world with total control by a central, supra-national entity. However, the virus has also emboldened the elites supporting TGR to expose themselves to the point they brag about it. Everything will depend how we respond to this.
There is a consistent theme. Going back to the 60’s. From pollution and overpopulation, to acid rain and saving the whales, global warming, deforestation, climate change and now Covid19. Overproduction, underproduction, too much wealth, too little wealth. Whatever the ailment the solutions always seems to be more government control and ending capitalism.
Hmmmm.
Remember, back in the 70s it was global COOLING – “The Coming Ice Age” etc – that required extreme government control and ending capitalism.

A judge in Los Angeles ruled that since there was no scientific evidence to allow Gavin Newsom’s rule about no inside dining to remain viable, then Californian restaurant owners could ignore it.
However Newsom anticipated that ruling and so 6 hours before the judge’s rule came about, he decreed that no one in Los Angeles County can leave their homes except for essential businesses. (Hmm, maybe the same judge can rule there is not evidence to support sequestering 33 million Californians in their homes.)
Kirk Uhler, an astoundingly patient and intelligent elected official in Placer County, recently ran the statistics for his county and Yolo County. The recent “uptick” in cases and hospitalizations is almost exactly the same for both counties, even though Yolo has been under much more severe restrictions than Placer County.
Apparently we sheeple are allowing officialdumb to be killing off the economy for the sake of nothing at all. But I guess that is the feature and not a bug of the World Economic Forum, Gates and Fauci strategy that is planned for the sake of a much bigger agenda.

It is funny that you chose to comment on my posts regarding how this all traces back to Bill Gates, yet fail to comment on someone here who claims he has never heard of the Trilateral Commission.
Most of what I have learned about Bill Gates has been info gleaned through the remarkable number of interviews he has had with TV morning show talk Hosts, and CBS and the BBC. All of them were conducted between Feb 10th and May 25th 2020, on youttube, and I imagine they are still up and running. (if you want to figure out for yourself who this guy is.)
One thing quite interesting about the interviews and how they are conducted – not once do any of the Talking Heads ask him how it is that he portrays himself a “health expert.”
But then for many Americans, if you are rich beyond belief, any and all remarks that come out of your mouth must be the truth.
Also, look into exactly now many nations in the world no longer want him back around with his vaccines. In Africa more than one nation has found sterilizing agents in the vaccines that were “given free of charge.”
Italy does not want him around again, nor does India. In India activists are upset with him about his using children under the age of five to experience being test subjects for vaccines.
Vindana Shiva has pointed out that one of the things most reprehensible about Gates is that he figured out about 20 years ago that one of the easiest ways to exponentially increase one’s wealth is to outlaw everyday normal day to day lifestyle activities. (Hmm, there’s something about that which rings very familiar.) Gates was instrumental in getting the Indian government to allow Monsanto to come in and entrap illiterate farmers into contracts for GM cotton and other crops. These contracts upended one of the most important day to day, year to year activities agrarian region farmers engage in: saving seeds.
As a result of these Monsanto contracts, close to 200,000 farmers committed suicide.
It should also be noted: as Robert F Kennedy Jr is known for explaining, for every dollar a vax manufacturer or supplier spendss on vaccines, five times that amount comes back to that person through the injured vaccine patients needing medicines to countermand the ailments the vaxxes created.
It is possible to support worthwhile activities without simultaneously supporting an ideology which aims to make the administrative state global.
Most of the people Bill & Melinda Gates generously and directly help in impoverished countries are in that sorry state because of cultural barriers to the establishment of cognitive conditions required for a functioning modern economy. There are those who want to create new barriers to those conditions both here and abroad.
It’s basic. The US created the modern economy. We did it ground up on purpose and knowingly. With time government grew and centralized and that was the beginning of the end. Trump was hated because he seemed to understand two things, centralization rots and that our economy had reached an economy of scale that enabled him to play tough international economic politics. Historically, capitalism is about innovation that creates efficiencies and wealth. Merchants and mass producers in England and Holland were opposed and looked down upon by aristocrats, hated by the guilds, and opposed by the entire system of fixed special interests.
But the idea that somebody not born to wealth could ever be entitled to it just by wit and work became sufficiently widely accepted to prevent the bad guys from shutting down what became the greatest engine for wealth production ever. We almost need a second cognitive revolution similar to the one that started in the 17th century by the Dutch and English because today those who oppose change, innovation, and any challenge to tenured positions of one kind or another are currently winning and are clearly determined to create a static new order with them at the top and grubby commercial, manufacturing or entrepreneurial types kept down in their place with regulation and taxes.

Yes, but the upticks are spurious. With more testing comes more cases, whether past and present, And with false positives the upticks are even greater. The response? Rather than measuring actual disease and mortality, they are hyping new cases, and withholding approval of known treatments; this disingenuity serves another desired outcome, increased control — and for whatever reason, increased chaos.

“Spurious” is not the right word. The bug does a thing in which the sharper the rise, the sharper the drop and that represents actual spread. If it were just a testing artifact, the number of “cases” would parallel the number of tests. What is noteworthy is that the harder a state got hammered before, the lower the incidence of death per case now. I guess Cuomo killed off a big chunk of the most vulnerable and also made sure everybody else in the nursing homes got exposed so the bug is finding it hard to get a purchase on fresh new killable targets in the population on this go-round.
I have looked at some age breakdowns and the new “cases” are much more in the 20-45 age groups which is in part a testing effect and also that younger people are not going to stay cooped up for eight months just because the governor has no Plan B. That also lowers the death rate because COVID has a much hard time killing younger, healthier people.
Call them what they really are: Eugenicists preparing for Our Transhumanist Future.

The Great Reset goes way, way beyond any kind of COVID-19 regulations and has been in the works for a quite a while – way before COVID. QE was essentially a Oligarch gambit where they got trillions to invest at 0.25%interest while Main Street America got the shaft.
But that was hardly the beginning, putting China in the WTO and letting them run wild in addition to deregulating the banking industry from Glass Steagall opened the flood gates to enormous amounts of money and the corruption of our bureaucracy and our politicians. Almost all the Democrats and many of the Republicans are now thoroughly bought and paid for and do the Oligarch/Deep States bidding at every turn. The money and non-monetary benefits outside donations is simply huge, and it overwhelms the opposition that still loves America. It is the strategy of the Davos Oligarch Aristocracy to take over the world where they the Corporatist Elite take all the the power and the common people are stripped of their rights to run their own lives relegating we the people to a life of a serf in the new Feudal Socialism. That is what “the Great Reset” means.
Small Business and independent thinkers are a direct threat to Oligarch Aristocracy because they innovate and create challenges to the mature businesses of the Oligarchy, so that is why the Oligarchy and the Deep State alliance of the Democrats and RINOs are trying to wipe out small business and independent contractors. The idea is to take away people’s options for work, for information, for innovation and for play and to punish independent thought circulating on the internet.
Just look at the actions of Big Tech, Big Media, the Big Banks, Big Pharma, Big Medicine and Big Retail. Big Tech now thinks it can tell you what you can see on the internet and what you may say. The Big Banks are primed to push for an all digital currency where all your money must be kept in a Big Bank where it can be monitored and stolen if they like. The Big Banks are also pushing for “negative interest rates” which already exist in several European countries where you will have to pay probably a big price for the Big Banks to store your money. The vaccine and “contact tracing” is just one step away from a chip in your arm so you can be tracked everywhere.
