Shouldn’t This Present Problems?

The actor formerly known as Ellen Page recently came out in an Instagram post saying she is a man, now to be known as Elliot Page.

I have my own mixed feelings towards transgenderism but probably lean to the Ben Shapiro side more than anything. We won’t get into that here. What I want to get into are some of the problems a story like this should present to the mainstream leftist ideology. None of these are original, just a few picked up here or there I find to be especially challenging.

  1. Ellen Page was a white female actress. We’re told that females (especially actresses) are paid less. Will Elliot Page see an immediate pay increase?
  2. Now identifying as a male (in the post Elliot says trans which is just doublespeak for male in my opinion), which we’re told is all you have to do to become a male, is Elliot Page now a member of the white patriarchy?
  3. Now identifying as a male but continuing to work in “his” current role, is Elliot not taking a job away from an underprivileged female? Is that not some form of modern 2020 blackface?

The mainstream leftist ideology is riddled with contradictions, especially when it comes to sex. How does one do it? Are they all just real-life “This Is Fine” dogs?

The most astounding thing, to me, was how quickly the Internet bowed to this declaration. Before the end of the day on which she announced she was really a man, IMDB had already changed its Ellen Page entry to “Elliot” and replaced all her pronouns with “they/them.” Wikipedia was also quickly changed, although whoever edited the Ellen Page entry used “he/him” for a lot of it, which I’m sure counts as “Problematic™.”

Although it does generate some amusing things like reading that “he” won an award for best actress.

But the speed with which Internet-World obeyed her declarations was astounding.

Not being a Cis Male, but a faux Trans Male it still gets intersectionality points for it’s mental illness.

So the rules that would apply to a Cis Male are suspended.

That’s a buncha pretzels – but did she also not say she is gay? So how does that work? She was attracted to men before and she still is? Confused.

This is all beyond me.  I still can’t figure out the difference between a female to male transgender person and what we used to call (no doubt with great insensitivity) a “butch” lesbian.  I’m just too old, I suppose.

I expect her to immediately stop contributing to the abortion debate. ASAP.

That’s a good one. But I presume Elliot still has a vagina and that’s usually the prerequisite for having an opinion on abortion isn’t it?

Isn’t transgenderism and abortion similar in the fact that “I say therefore I (it) am (is)”?

If it renders it’s uterus to be only suitable for cobwebs before thoroughly unsexing itself, I don’t think it should count. There’s no chance for life on mars.

So …. if I understand correctly, if I think I am Wilma Flintstone, or a golden retriever, or Joan of Arc, or Napoleon, or a pterodactyl , I’m mentally ill and in need of psychiatric assistance.    But if I think I’m Ms Ekosj instead of Mr Ekosj I’m a discriminated against member of a protected class and in need of preferential treatment by society and government.    That it?

I dunno.  I think you’d be protected if you were Fred Flintstone and thought you were Wilma. Josephine and thought you were Napoleon, or King Louis and thought you were Joan of Arc.  Not sure about the retriever or pterodactyl though.

The golden retriever has more rights and privileges than an 8.5 month unborn child in a lot of places.

Definitely don’t identify as a fetus.

I’m just waiting for Teen Vogue to publish some piece about how transgender men are the real men, since they’re the only men who aren’t bogged down by all that toxic masculinity.

I was told that although she no longer considers herself a woman, she does not consider herself a “man” either, which makes the normally confusing and self-contradictory thoughts of “regular” transgenderism even more convoluted.

I don’t know what Elliot is doing now, but it certainly makes sense to me that the next role will be highly acclaimed to pave the way for a best actor nomination.  Gotta happen, right?

Maybe places like imdb and wikipedia have set up “gender flip” buttons for their editors.  The way things are now, it would certainly make their jobs easier.  And then when “Elliott” decides to be female again – maybe because “he” discovers it’s easier to win for Best Actress than for Best Actor – all they have to do is click the button again.

Elliot is already now the 35th most famous “Elliot,” and is behind a whole bunch of “Elliots” that I’ve never heard of.  I predict a fast rise through the ranks, and it’s possible has-been Elliot Gould may be threatened.

    See here.

I’m betting the next frontier will be Genderless Oscars.   No best actor or actress. Just “best performer”

Maybe the wife will leave him.  That seems to happen in other trans cases.

Page definitely had higher stock as a cute lesbian than he will as a scrawny, effeminate guy. Is he going to get the John Cazale roles now?

I listened to the clip on Matt Walsh where Page ranted like an angry teenage girl on the verge of tears about how Mike Pence was full of hate for lesbian marriages like hers. Guys do this kind of thing all the time.

It reminded me of the panel discussion in which a big, burly M-to-F transsexual threatened to punch Ben Shapiro out in the alley after the show. The other ladies here can assure you all that most of us get in several fistfights every year.
