Recommended by Ricochet Members Created with Sketch. The Right Questions

Why is Hillary Clinton saying, “Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstance”? Biden, at the time, was up in most of the polls by 9-15 points. You would think Biden would be declaring victory. How would the presence of normal ordinary Republican poll watchers be intimidating? To whom would that be intimidating?

We have the answer but first a little review of how it used to be. Not that long ago when paper ballots were counted by hand a strange phenomenon would happen on election night. After 11:00 pm in heavily Democrat-controlled precincts, ballot boxes would be “misplaced”. Seems odd as a ballot box is a rather large stationary piece of equipment. How could it be misplaced? This would only happen if the election was close. Next, mysteriously, the ballot boxes were found at about 1:00 am. The ballots were now counted and were 100% voting Democratic. Truly a mystery.

Now we are in a new era. Everything is done by computer. Of course, people still have paper ballots mailed to them. In some states, no one needs to request these as the paper ballots are just mailed out in mass to whatever address & name the board of elections has. Now we have a new strange phenomenon. Virtually all the ballots, regular & mail-in, have been counted early in the evening except for those in heavily Democrat-controlled cities in states with Democrat Governors. In the middle of the night, literally around 4 am, suddenly a huge number of ballots are tabulated all at once from these Democrat-controlled cities. They are 100% voting Democratic. Truly a new information age mystery.

Now back to our original question. Why would Hillary Clinton be so adamant about Joe Biden not conceding when according to the polls it was much more likely that Joe Biden would be declaring victory? I think our answer lies in the new information age mystery. Some of the 4 a.m. vote floods showed a turnout of over 100%. Just an amazing mystery.

I think we are experiencing the same old corruption in brand new internet clothing.

Information warfare is all about gaslighting the public. Which is why Fox News was the one to make the call on Arizona. They’re gaslighting the Right. Paul Ryan took his beating from Joe Biden for a reason back in 2012 and now he has a Fox board seat.

    666,

Do you remember the Peter Principle? You are promoted until you reach your level of incompetence. Ryan reached his level of incompetence after he ran for High School class president. It’s been downhill since then. What a fantasy world the never-Trumpers live in. You can be an effective political party without winning elections. If you can’t win elections, not only aren’t you effective but you will cease to be a political party.

Why is Gary always talking about going back to Reagan? Why not go all the way back to the Whig Party. After all, Lincoln was such a divisive figure pushing that crazy anti-slavery issue. Who would trust somebody born in a “log cabin” and homeschooled? No ivy league degree, no college degree period. I bet he couldn’t handle a spreadsheet certainly not like Paul Ryan. Railsplitting?! Sounds like some toxic 19th-century macho activity. Henry Clay, now there was a guy Gary would like. Of course, Henry Clay was sort of a proto-fascist but Gary isn’t big on actual details. He likes grand ideas that make you feel good. The actual substance not so much.

    Regards,

As I read this my daughter walked past and said, “Eww! What is that?” I laughed because she said “what” rather than “who.” Now I am not sure if I should worry that she is picking up my wiseguy tendencies, or proud that I raised her right.

    Vance,

Your daughter obviously has good taste. The person appearing at the top of my post has no taste whatsoever. She got stuck with Slick Willy for life. A fate worse than death for any sane woman. Your daughter has her head mounted facing forward. Be thankful.

Why is Gary always talking about going back to Reagan?

    Pure,

Hey, I loathed Joe Biden. Never was there a clearer example of a shallow opportunist than Joe Biden. Issues were like new shirts he put on every morning. Everything was to benefit Joe from day one to the present.

I think that’s a fairly common appraisal of Joe Biden. Loathsome.

I dont understand this election. Joe Biden went nowhere in the primaries, the Democratic base also found him Loathsome. Joe Biden’s campaign was beyond lackluster, it was nearly invisible. He lost support with all the democratic constituencies, Blacks, Latinos, Unions.

Then come election day – he blows everything out of the water – he not only wins the popular vote, he breaks all records. Beating even Barack Obama’s vote totals. This makes absolutely no sense at all. Then there is this:

I think the democrats realized they where over confident in 2016, and didnt think they needed to cheat to win… This time they where prepared and stuffed every ballot box to the gills…

I think president Trump should invoke the 14th amendment article 2, and refuse to accept electors from these states.

Here’s a Biden voter of distinction:

A social worker in Texas was charged with 134 felony counts for allegedly registering people with disabilities to vote despite not being given permission to do so.

Kelly Reagan Brunner is a social worker in the Mexia State Supported Living Center.

According to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, Brunner submitted voter registration applications for 67 residents with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities without their signature or effective consent.

Many of the residents have been declared totally mentally incapacitated by a court, thereby making them ineligible to vote in Texas.

Under Texas law, only a parent, spouse, or child who is a qualified voter of the county may act as an agent in registering a person to vote, after being appointed to do so by that person.

“Registering citizens to vote or to obtain mail ballots without their consent is illegal. It is particularly offensive when individuals purport to be champions for disability rights, when in reality they are abusing our most vulnerable citizens in order to gain access to their ballots and amplify their own political voice,” Paxton said in a statement. “My office is prepared to assist any Texas county in combating this insidious form of fraud.”

Gosh, I wonder how they voted.

Just heard that 34% of Biden ballots had no down ballot votes on them. Is that true?

    Occu,

If this is proven so it is about the maximal indicator of pure fraud. They rushed and filled in the fraudulent ballots so they could run them through the system with the poll watchers locked out in the middle of the night.

My easy, quiet manner made the policemen believe my story. So
they sat talking with me in a friendly way. But although I answered
them in the same way, I soon wished that they would go. My head hurt
and there was a strange sound in my ears. I talked more, and faster.
The sound became clearer. And still they sat and talked.
Suddenly I knew that the sound was not in my ears, it was not
just inside my head. At that moment I must have become quite white.
I talked still faster and louder. And the sound, too, became louder. It
was a quick, low, soft sound, like the sound of a clock heard through a
wall, a sound I knew well. Louder it became, and louder. Why did the
men not go? Louder, louder. I stood up and walked quickly around the
room. I pushed my chair across the floor to make more noise, to cover
that terrible sound. I talked even louder. And still the men sat and
talked, and smiled. Was it possible that they could not hear??
No! They heard! I was certain of it. They knew! Now it was they
who were playing a game with me. I was suffering more than I could
bear, from their smiles, and from that sound. Louder, louder, louder!
Suddenly I could bear it no longer. I pointed at the boards and cried,
“Yes! Yes, I killed him. Pull up the boards and you shall see! I killed
him. But why does his heart not stop beating?! Why does it not stop!?”

… while I pondered weak and weary …

    Regards,

    Jim

Ha! Or as an oxymoron, it’s not the people (i.e. who vote) who count, it’s the people who count (the votes).
