Regarding Trump Hatred
I have been bewildered by the intense, beyond all reason, hatred of Donald J. Trump since he became a candidate for the POTUS. Therefore, I have finally come to the Ricochet community seeking your insights. I have no reason to suspect he is any more than a normal human being with strengths and weaknesses common to mankind. So, in all seriousness, please contribute your thoughts as to why his opponents are, I believe, quite literally insane, i.e., out of their minds, in regards to him.

You could ask for evidence, but if these people are like Never Trumpers, they will only yell their bullet points louder.
I’d start by asking them, “So tell me what your kids are learning in church.”
They’d probably say, “My kids don’t go to church.”
I’d reply, “It shows.” Then walk away.
I haven’t read all the comments so please excuse if this is repetitious: The Progressives (both parties) have imposed their agenda through the courts for over 50 years because they couldn’t get it through the legislature. That is under threat because Trump is nominating judges at all levels that believe in following the law as written and the Constitution as if it means what it says. That is the foundation of the hissy fit they have thrown beginning before he was inaugurated. If he is re-elected it will continue unabated as that is all they have. Their arguments are empty and ineffective; they can only use coercion. It looks insane to us but is completely logical from their perspective.
That is because THEY ARE insane.
:-)
Insanity is just a state of mind.
A nice comment.
On a related note, when you’re bereft of any religious hope it’s a lot easier to despair and totally freak out when the highest thing you admit exists–politics–doesn’t go your way.
Hat tip to Ace, a female protester assaults a cop and then yells for a female cop. The cop says, how do you know I don’t identify as a female. Beautiful.
The whole point of being a President is that you aren’t a team player.
I admit to liking a lot of his negative qualities; they have grown on me.
Eggsactly…and YOU are final say on policy in YOUR administration. Was blatantly obvious during their impeachment hearing testimony many bureaucrats thought POTUS was not allowed to violate THEIR US policy.
“Prove it” is a good way to either start or end that conversation.
