Jews For Trump In NYC
Jews for Trump rally was attacked in New York City. Don’t be fooled by the news report: The Jews for Trump were peaceful, were attacked, and were defending themselves. Wish I could have been there.
G-d bless them.

Counter-protestors my rear. They weren’t protesting. They came for violence.
If the news people say “Violence broke out,” or some version thereof, you know who attacked who.
I joined a small parade of 30 vehicles last Saturday. There are lot more trucks in the Texas version. We stayed on the highways, but one guy still got a drink thrown through his window from a passing car. Overall, it was fun. The people were very nice and there was a lot of excitement. There was a strange mood of people feeling free to express themselves in safety. We did a prayer before rolling out, which was nice. If you get a chance to join one this last weekend, go for it. Such things might be illegal next year.
How cool is that! That’s fantastic. You’ll have that as a memory for the rest of your life.
Of course, they led with a visual of a Trump supporter going after a “counter-protester,” but, if you went all the way to the end, it was pretty clear who the perps were.
This is, maybe unfortunately, about as fair as one can expect for coverage.
I expect them to do better than that. I don’t predict that they will, though. (Yeah, I’m using a different definition of expect than you are, and my definition isn’t even at the top of the dictionary list like yours is. However, I don’t ever want the media or anyone I know to think I’ve acquiesced to their behavior, even if they have no intention of ever noticing my expectations.)
Despite the reputation of the borough being a hive-mind of progressive thought, South Brooklyn has been trending Republican over the past 25 or so years, due to both the Italian and Jewish populations there. But Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights are pretty much ground zero for the borough’s woke progressives, which is why that’s where the caravan got attacked on the drive towards the Brooklyn Bridge and into Manhattan.
The conflict in Times Square was more than what happened a couple of weeks ago when a Trump caravan, mainly from Long Island, did the drive down Fifth Avenue past Trump Tower — given the general anti-Semitic feelings of your average Antifa protestor, “Jews for Trump” probably set them off more than the “Non-Denominationals for Trump” did earlier (add to the fact the angry progs likely thought of Manhattan as ‘our turf’ and couldn’t fathom a Trump parade being held there the first time around).
Clickable.
Thanks for this, Manny. It made my heart burst with pride, knowing that Jews were willing to celebrate Trump, in NY no less. Way to go!
I grew up in Bensonhurst, one of the more conservative sections of Brooklyn. Actually most of the conservatives have moved over to Staten Island over the years.
You’re welcome. It was an amazing statement they made. But Trump’s support for Israel is extraordinary, especially when you consider the previous administration. It’s 180 degrees.
I saw this early this morning and it made me sick. They have the right to have a drive through caravan and cheer for the president. Rudy Giuliani was in one the of cars. They attacked the cars, threw paint, peppered sprayed a family of 7 through a car window, threw eggs and hurled swearing at everyone. This is coming from evil. These thugs, and the ones in Philadelphia and elsewhere will never get their objectives met through anarchy.
Well said.
