Feeding the Public

‘Facts,’ a famous German editor said, ‘are not fit for the reader when served raw; they have to be cooked, chewed and presented in the correspondent’s saliva.’

This is why you are not going to see the media report on the Hunter Biden so-called business deals, and the cut that went to the “Big Guy.” Omission from the media will be the plan to protect a Biden campaign from the public and to protect approved political activism.

Suppression from Silicon Valley will be used to silence anyone that dare question a politician in the public square. A politician that used his office to enrich himself in Ukraine, Russia, and China, and possibly anywhere else that Air Force Two landed. A politician that appears to be using his son as a bagman.

There is an article that has been published by Crisis Magazine that discusses opinion journalism. Crisis Magazine; “A voice for faithful Catholic laity” covers a wide range of subjects. An article titled; Welcome to Weimar America, written by Msgr. Richard C. Antall is worth reading. As he says:

Part of the trouble is the ignorance of an educated class that holds on to clichés they had to regurgitate in the course of their college curriculum. Academe is notorious now for intellectual intolerance and an almost metaphysical herd mentality. The bien pensants of this age are conformists in thinking. They rarely think out of the tracks provided for them by opinion makers. The bourgeois Catholics backing Biden are more bourgeois than Catholic, but they are comfortable because what they dare to say and think is within the cocoon spun of clichés mass produced by the “influencers.”

It used to be said that newspapers are the first draft of history.  Today, journalists think they are history’s final arbiters.

It wasn’t Little Joe Goebbels, was it? It sounds like it could have been.

Tell me what happened. I can think for myself.

Journalism is valuable and not everything done by the big articles can be recreated by bloggers from the ground up, or outsourced to the wisdom of the twitter crowds. Having said that, it does become harder and harder to trust what I read when I see reporters let the mask drop in the worst, most manipulative ways. Something just feels different about looking at the mainstream media after NYPost (journos!) dropped the Hunter/Joe Biden story and they made an effort to ignore it.

I want a Special Counsel created to investigate with all GOP Trump supporters running it. Symmetry is a beautiful thing.

If Trump goes down and the caricature-bogey-man-Hitler is removed, what is left of the hive mind would be anti-racism, climate hysteria and incredibly bad economic policy.

Can that be sustained? Hong Kong, Solidarność and a lot of other eruptions of human nature demonstrate that unless you are willing to go full Castro on a captive people, mandating beliefs in utter and complete BS is tough to do.

Joe Biden is the least inspiring politician ever to get this far. He has never had a natural constituency or loyal base. He a forced selection by party elders aware of how unsaleable the true platform of the party is. Will the MSM circle the wagons and  try to persuade us that President Biden is cogent? Likeable? Remotely honest? Competent? Like the scientists impersonated by Woody Allen and Diane Keaton in Sleeper (1973) trying to clone a nose back into the Leader they would be faced with a preposterous, impossible task.

Or will they tear him down to complete the takeover by the left?

Either option leaves lots of room for the rebellion to get purchase on the obvious facts issues. My suspicion is that Facebook, Twitter et all will not go want to be recognized for the political toadies they are now and try to restore credibility, business and forestall competing outlets.

Precisely because Trump is not a racist, the middle class of all races is realizing that they have much in common because the jaded elite has declared war on them all and is cynically using the poor to get the power to wage that war.  If not for the sensibilities of a lot of idiot white suburban women, this coalition would have already emerged and won easily.
