Donald Trump Defeats Chris Wallace in First Presidential Debate

That was one of the most awesome debates of all time, with President Donald Trump totally dominating his opponent, Chris Wallace.

Wallace tried his best to hurt Trump and help Joe Biden, who was standing in the stage for some reason, but failed utterly and succeeded only in demonstrating that he is a complete jackass.

Wallace’s ego prevented him from doing his actual job, which was to “moderate” the debate. Instead he enthusiastically and blatantly joined the fray on the side of the Democrat nominee, whose name is I think Kamala Harris

President Trump showed himself to be alpha, and did not let Wallace’s obvious attempts to help Harris deter him.

At various points Joe Biden, who was standing on the stage for some reason, called Trump a “clown” and asked him meekly to “stop yapping, man.” He appeared to be reading from notes on his lectern at various times.

After Biden’s thought process petered out, despite the massive amounts of drugs he had probably been injected with, Trump and Wallace continued with the debate, which Trump dominated to the end.

You’ve given an unfortunate emotional description of what you apparently feel confirms your bias towards the President.  Biden had a poor performance as well.  It looked like two old men arguing over the last dish of jello after the bridge tournament at the old folks home.

None of this debate was good for America. NONE of it.

I don’t thinK anyone won this debate. Just two old angry men talking over each other with no control from the moderator.

If Chris Wallace were any more of a Democratic Party tool, he’d have “Stanley” stamped on his butt.

I hereby nominate Chris for this year’s Candy Crowley Excellence in Interference Award.

The first chunk of the debate was exhausting with both Trump and Biden talking over eachother. Biden was awake but stiff, seemingly freshly botoxed, wrong on his facts about the Obama legacy, and had a few crude asides to Trump when he wanted him to be quiet. For his part, Trump’s strategy at times seemed to be to bombard Biden and at times it was impossible to understand literally what was being said. Trump’s points were good, but I think he could have held off for a moment before lunging for the kill. That said, Wallace jumped on Team Biden in a big way so I also understand why Trump jumped on Biden immediately.

For those of us that are voting for Trump, this didn’t move the needle at all. I do wonder if this had any effect on people who (for reasons beyond me at this point) consider themselves undecided.

I don’t like bullies.  I am appalled that Trump refused to tell White Supremacists to go to hell, but instead suggest that they “stand down and stand by”!  Stand by?  How about a clear and simple denunciation?

We must hammer the wooden stake through Trump and Trumpism.

I think both showed who and what they were for.  I like Trump and I liked what he said.  I don’t like Biden, but I guess those who like Biden understood and agreed with him.

The independents?  They get to go with the Green New Deal and Racial Sensitizing, or with the one who supports a strong economy and racial equality.

They should have had to press a button to use the microphone and had a large, bright, digital, total elapsed speaking time display.  I say let them argue and talk over each other.  they will just use up their time fruitlessly.  Toward the end of the debate when one candidate has used up all his time, he can’t be heard any longer.  Sound fair.

The idea that an actual journalist could repeat the “good people on both sides” slander without pointing out the full context, is despicable.  Wait, an actual journalist would NOT have done that.  Yup, Wallace lost all credibility with that move, and on the “what’s wrong with racial sensitivity?” canard.  I don’t think he is that dumb, so why do it if not to support Biden?

    Max,

I never cared much for Mike Wallace and the chip off the old block is considerably less intelligent.

Then again it was actually entertaining watching Trump wipe the floor with both Chris and Joe at the same time.

Won is a little strong to describe his performance, but at least Trump didn’t roll over for Biden like that punk Paul Ryan did years ago. And Trump had to be “unpresidential, rude” to avoid that against a liar like Biden. Such is politics today.

    unpresidential

Unpresidential?  What does presidential mean?  Invading Iraq?  Invading Somalia?  Schputzing onto your intern?  Not taking out bin Laden?  Calling islam a religion of peace?  Invading Iraq?  Bursting open the deficit?  Invading Afghanistan?  Not taking out bin Laden — again?  Saying, If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor?  Saying, The white police acted stupidly?  Saying that if I had a son he would look like Trayvon?  All the while encouraging illegal immigration?

Or lowering unemployment.  Bringing back manufacturing to the US.  Stimulating the economy.  Nominating three Supreme Court justices.  Withdrawing from NAFTA, TPP, the Paris Accords.  Renegotiating trade with China, Canada and Mexico.  Making NATO pay its way.  Resupplying Ukraine and Poland with defensive military equipment.  Taking out Soleimani.  Taking out al Baghdadi.  Wiping out ISIS.  Negotiating peace between Serbia and Kosovo?  Negotiating peace between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain.  Building a southern border wall.  Handling a pandemic and a possible biological attack on the US.  All the while staving off a deep state coup.

    That’s presidential.
