And What Does That Mean Exactly?

The actor who played Riff, leader of the Jets in West Side Story, put us all on notice:

Okay. I recently rewatched West Side Story, and was reminded how good he was, particularly in the dance-at-the-gym scene. He was hilarious in the third season of Twin Peaks, broadcasting madman diatribes from a trailer in the woods, and his long, crazy, irrelevant story had a sweet ending. It’s still maddening that Twin Peaks also featured Richard Beymer, and the third season didn’t find a way to bring them together, if only to look at each other and grin and snap their fingers.

He’s 85. This is Asner-level bluster. But:

Nothing?

Assassination?

Well no obviously that’s not on the table

Okay so some things are off the table. What, then, remains on the table? Burning down cities in protest? Unchecked riots? How about a strategic bombing of the Senate to get everyone’s attention?

Well no those are extreme measures

So what do you mean? Would it be too much to ask what, exactly, can be found on your table?

I tend to agree with Michael Brendan Dougherty that this might save Trump electorally.

The Democrats, if this gets to a committee, are going to go hard anti-Christian.

I’m hoping that’s enough to bring in “Bulwark curious” types.

Aren’t there still a sizable number of people who, while they may not say so in everyday life, still believe that Catholics aren’t really Christians?

    Plenty.

But all of our conservative justices tend to be Catholics.

So, by war do they mean that they go out with their guns and we go out with our guns and see who wins? Seemed like a forgone conclusion.

We on the right keep saying this, but it’s bullsh*t. When has there ever been a serious right wing effort to stop leftist violence with our own violence?

I guess by our guns I mean the kind brandished by men and women in uniforms and badges. But even still, a bunch of kids rioting in the streets are no match for an armed man protecting his family. Of this we have a few examples, including three perps our friend chased out of his house with an AR the other night.
