Refugees from Woke America

Woke “culture” has created hostile environments in universities, blue cities, and corporations across the nation.  Some people will meekly submit to constant “all white people are racist” verbal abuse, but some will vote with their feet.

From an antiracist seminar:

All white people are racist.  So, I put this up because I really want any white person in the room to know, up front, that this is what we’re dealing with.  The it’s not going to be this coddling of white tears and what that looks like.  We’re not going to discuss, “Oh, maybe some of us have worked it out.”  No, you’re always going to be racist, actually.  So, even when you’re on your path to trying to figure out how to be a better human being – because I believe that white people are born into not being human.  Like that, actually, instead of people of color and black folks being dehumanized, that, actually, everyone is dehumanized within white supremacy.  That y’all are born into a life to not be human, and that’s what y’all are taught to do, to be demons.  So, in this particular way, white people are all racist, so I just want y’all to know that up front.

After the “you’re always going to be racist” statement the only logical action would be to leave.  If I’m always going to be racist, what’s the point of sitting through an antiracist seminar?  If there’s no hope, why shouldn’t I just go be racist somewhere else?

Since I’m a racist, and I’ll always be a racist, if this class isn’t teaching me to be a better racist, then there’s no point in my staying.

Sadly, the class probably is teaching some white attendees to be racist.  How can you not resent a lecturer who is accusing you of being an inhuman, racist, demon?

That statement is utterly insane racism and bigotry.  Not human?  You can go die in a fire, you crazy bigoted moron.

How have companies not been sued for this yet? Surely, at least one conservative legal fund is interested in a class action lawsuit.

yeah, if that’s all we can ever be, then let’s strive to be the best racists we can be. Go big or go home.

I love the Paypal note at the bottom of the second flip chart.  “Pay me to abuse you.”  Very S&M.

What do these people promoting this wokeness do when all the white racists (that’s redundant) fully engage their inborn racism?

Richard Fulmer: you’re always going to be racist, actually. So, even when you’re on your path to trying to figure out how to be a better human being – because I believe that white people are born into not being human.

This is not following the Utopian path that all of nature’s evils can be fixed within the proper environment. I personally believe that racism is a genetic instinct that loses its utility in properly functioning modern civilization. Hard to convince me that only some humans harbor this instinct.

But I’m not an expert in this since it is not my specialty.

And since she can’t cure us, and we are going to be racist forever, what are they going to do with us? Are they going to let us just hang out even though we hate them? Are they going to be willing to work with such abominations to humanity? Or are they going to create American gulags where they don’t have to look at us, knowing how racist we are?

    Sheesh.

The interesting thing would be to find a genetic company that would produce a report showing how much POC background you have so you can get a pass on this BS

It is beyond belief that those promoting this trash (I mean the leaders like BLM) believe it is fact. Their goal is to undo all the advances made in America overcoming racism. The reasoning defect stands out. If the American premise is that all are created equal, how can only some exhibit inborn racism?

Being a POC only buys you so much.  You also have to have the “right” beliefs otherwise you’re a <traitor to your race | Uncle Tom | Oreo | apple | potato | fill-in-your-favorite-epithet>.

The rioters’ aim in Portland was to provoke police officers into reacting brutally so that their actions could be caught on video and “prove” that the United States is an evil police state.  Is the aim of all this verbal abuse to provoke reactions by white people?  If so, why?  To “prove” that America is evil?  To start a race war?  The later might make Putin and Xi happy.  Is there any Russian or Chinese support for the “antiracist” movement?

I don’t understand the whole concept.

The whole idea is as follows:

“Every single thing that is happens is because of white people. Therefore, we cannot help ourselves, only white people can help us.”

    That is just stinkin’ thinkin’.

I was interested in Ms. Shackleford’s backgound, particularly education-wise, since I assumed that anyone so capable of levying judgments on the psychology of the white race had studied extensively.  From her website:

Hunter Ashleigh Shackelford (she/ they) is a Black fat cultural producer, multidisciplinary artist, nonbinary shapeshifter, hood feminist, and data futurist based in Atlanta, Georgia, with roots in Richmond, Virginia. She is the creator and director of a Southern body liberation organization, Free Figure Revolution, which focuses on decolonizing antiblack body violence.

    So now I know.

Actually she has a point.  I have known many racist, some of them were even white.  Most were not.  If you define racism as preference for ones own type then maybe she has a point but her error is restricting it to whites.  I know many more racist blacks and especially Asians.

I may have done Ms. Shackleford a disservice by editing the above.  Perhaps this will be more clarifying:

She is currently working as the Artist-in-Residence for Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative, an organization dedicated to creating Black Trans Futures through Black trans leadership and community building in Atlanta.
