Mueller Proves Russian Collusion
I never quite understood the basic idea of the Russian collusion investigation. So Robert Mueller believed that Vladimir Putin would prefer to have a tough-guy firebrand like Donald Trump in the Oval Office, rather than an incompetent leftist like Hillary Clinton of “reset button” fame. If Putin preferred Trump over Clinton, then Putin is a fool. And Vladimir Putin is a lot of things, but he is no fool. But regardless, Robert Mueller & Co. spent years searching for absolute proof of the extremely improbable.
I would suggest that Mr. Trump should point out the Robert Mueller did indeed discover proof of Russian collusion between an American presidential campaign and Russian interests. When the Hillary Clinton campaign paid a former British spy for the Steele Dossier, which used a Russian national as its primary source, that smells like Russian interference in an American election. Paid for by one of the candidates. If Hillary Clinton was a Republican, she might already be in prison for that. So yes, Mr. Mueller did uncover proof of Russian collusion, but not the type that he was paid to find. So he ignored it.
It wouldn’t shock me if Mr. Trump pointed out these findings of Mr. Mueller’s investigation, with his usual refined, subtle style. And that style, in this particular circumstance, would be entirely appropriate. Running for president while your opponent buys Russian intelligence against you is an outrage. And Mr. Trump should feel free to express his outrage, as only he can.
The Democrats used the seemingly endless Mueller investigation to keep pressure on the Trump administration. Month by month by month, it just dragged on, and gave the Democrat media something to talk about. It was a means to endlessly suggest the appearance of corruption, which they hoped would add up enough over time, so that American voters would eventually associate Trump with corruption.
Once the Mueller investigation failed to find evidence of corruption in the Trump campaign, the Democrats let it fade away.
Donald Trump should not allow the Mueller investigation to fade away. He should keep it front and center. The Democrat party is corrupt top to bottom, and Robert Mueller proved that beyond the shadow of a doubt. Voters should be made aware of that. Mr. Mueller’s findings should be publicized far and wide, every single day.
Just like the Democrats intended.

Bastiat, you may want to watch for falling pianos after accusing Hillary like that!
The most astonishing aspect of the entire Trump/Russia collusion and all it’s ancillary corruption (ie: HRC server/e-mail destruction, un-masking, contractor access to secret US intel database, etc.) is everything the MSM has chosen to ignore.
Which all fits perfectly with the observation made by David Mamet: …‘in order for democrats, liberals, progressives et al to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things’… By pretending ‘not to know’ there is no guilt, no actual connection to conscience. Denial of truth allows easier trespass.
Have those NYT and Wapo Pulitzer Prizes been returned yet? Asking for a friend.
The only reason Trump would be preferable to Hillary is because his priorities make him predictable to some degree.
Globalism, especially globalism masquerading as something else in order to get votes, is volatile, unreliable, and dangerously unpredictable.
You don’t know where their interests lie because they aren’t the interests being advertised to voters and they aren’t connected to their office.
Yes, we should all be paying attention to the aftermath of that huge investigation. The march back through how it all began and how it all developed, and all the players and all their crimes. If we are going to keep it from happening, people who commit crimes in the upper reaches of government and, especially law enforcement, should be exposed and prosecuted.
If people these days are so concerned about police and government crimes, they should be supporting this. (Hah!)
Of course it’s difficult to get people to pay attention to anything else when total Covid-consciousness is kept front and center with the mask policy. Masks-wearing as much as possible might help or hurt or do nothing in particular about spreading the phantom virus, but it sure as shooting keeps COVID on our minds all day, to the exclusion of anything else.
Coincidence? I think not.
Hah!
None of this matters.
For the narrative is set in stone. We have a shining example here at Ricochet of what the person immune to facts looms like.
His name is Weaver, isn’t it.
Trump is more pugnacious than most Republicans, but he is strangely discreet about this.
Also I was very disappointed when he took office, and still am, by his announcement that he won’t prosecute Hillary.
EPIC.
I’m assuming he thinks she’s done, so there’s no need to stomp on the grave.
I would also assume that Trump’s better campaign ads are forthcoming, since you can literally do what was done by Drew in #3 above. Just show the screaming two-faced nature of the leeches. That might help sway the undecided/voters in the middle, who still aren’t 100% either way, and are the ones who wind up tipping the scales on election day.
I’d hammer the Russian thing over and over. Collusion? Yep – here’s how Hillary colluded with the Russians to try to steal the election.
Because that’s literally what happened. What’s amazing to me, again (granted, I’m easily amazed, have you seen these new Star Wars movies all the kids are talking about?), is that not one politican has been frog-marched down the steps of the Capitol building, while being pelted with rotten eggs.
Old-timey justice is the sweetest.
The idea that Putin would prefer Trump to Biden, or to any of today’s Democrats, seems ridiculous on its face. Russia’s most important exports are oil and natural gas, and the monetary and strategic value of those exports would be far higher under a US Dem administration than under a Trump administration.
Putin is subtle enough that the impression he wants to give of who he prefers may likely be different from who he *actually* prefers.
Humans are usually so corrupt they can’t even grasp the Truth to deny it.
