Kamala Harris Will Say Anything to Get Power

Biden had Senator Dodd screening potential VP candidates. I recently heard on a podcast that he asked Senator Harris about her attacks on Biden. She replied that it was only politics. He was taken aback at the nakedness of her cynicism. I don’t like Colbert, but this short clip shows her inner emptiness. How any person who claims to be a Republican can support this team escapes me.

Hillary Clinton is possessing that woman. It really is the best explanation.

    Richard,

This is more than she will “just say anything to get elected”. This is her making it clear that she has no integrity at all. Not only does she have no integrity she doesn’t even recognize the concept. She has gotten by on identity politics, insider power, big money, and the climate of extreme leftwing amorality of California. Even Colbert is trying to give her a soft toss so she can give a strong real answer. She just blows him off with her “horse laugh”. Hey man, don’t bug me man, like it was just a debate man, haha, it was just a debate. As if having no respect for the electorate whatsoever is the really cool thing to do.

As I said on another post a few days ago, you can control things in a 30-second spot but any kind of an interview setting that will go on for even a few minutes, and her real personality is going to come out. Any Democrat probably can’t lose California no matter what they do. However, she is going to offend, offend, offend, most of the rest of the country with her hipper than thou California amorality. Meanwhile, crazy Joe will blow.

Biden-Harris is a marriage made in hell.

    Regards,

    Jim

They can’t get a woman elected President. They have to find other ways in. Being Biden’s VP is a good one. I noticed Hillary also volunteering to “serve” in the Biden administration. Will be quite strange if the first state funeral Harris attends is Biden’s.

Obama’s tenure demonstrated that they can do and say anything and no one will care. They are no longer concerned about appearances. It’s always been about getting power. Now it seems they revel in the pursuit.

Honestly, as ludicrous as it is to join the campaign of someone she publicly accused of gross misconduct only a year ago, dismissing it as “just politics” was probably the strongest response available.

Democrats are plainly and regularly ends-justify-means opportunists. Though many of their voters might wish for a false veneer to mask it, such duplicity hasn’t stopped them from voting for liars and villains.

Kamala laughs like a college freshman who just got super-high on ganja for the first time. And she talks like a stoner too.

More accurately, high on pot and about two shots of cheap tequila.

She could have said “Well, I admit I came on a little strong. Sometimes these things happen in the hurley-burley of politics.”

Or better, “Yes, I was pretty upset about those things. But Joe and I talked about it – he was pretty amazing. He walked me through it all, his explanations meant a lot to me. So much so that he persuaded me to join the ticket.”

But no.  She obviously thinks that outright fabrication and any other underhanded tactic is perfectly fine because, hey, it was a debate!  The point is winning! She was proud of it.

She pretty much demonstrated why it is pointless to try to reason with modern Democrats.

    This is a vile person.

If your original path to big league politics was sleeping with Willie Brown, taking dirty to Stephen Colbert isn’t going to be a problem. The bigger one may be the fact that deprived of a deep Blue environment like California or the late night talk shows, Harris doesn’t come across as a really great retail politician, which might be why Team Biden has been keeping her under wraps the past three days as much as they have Joe.

She needs at the very least a lot of polishing before she goes out and faces any non-fawning questioning, though at the moment Biden’s people seem to be trying to push the envelope to see how far they can go with the mostly pro-Joe media in not allowing either of them to answer any questions other than from the most syncopate of interviewers, like Colbert (and you’ve already seen some of the press start to get a little irked over the lack of taking questions, followed by the expected Twitter attacks on them by Biden’s backers, claiming they must be rabid Trump QAnon fascists if they want Kamala and Joe to say anything….)

Moral relativism. If truth is what works, than whatever works at the moment is true.

Being a progressive means being able to believe contradictory things. Like “Discrimination is racist and sexist!” and “Aren’t we wonderful for nominating a female of color!”

I wish we could persuade Condi Rice to run for President. Not because of her race or gender, but her intellectual heft and character.

First off, she has Hillary level likability.

Second, if you can just wash away your comments by saying “it’s a debate” (over and aver again), is it safe to assume that you lie during debates?

I think if she had said “it was a debate” seriously, I might feel different about it. But to giggle through her explanation, like the question was ludicrous or she was simply playing some kind of game is disgusting. What a sad woman.

Kamala Harris is Gavin Newsom without the mansplaining and all that pesky whiteness. Mercenary. Spineless. Evil.

There is a special place in hell for the California career politician.

    Suzy,

This is who she is. Colbert kept trying to give her a second chance but she was happy with this smirking phony answer.

Yeah, well, the American electorate will swallow the whole Biden/Harris bilge bucket, I’m afraid. After all, Trump. I hope not, but I’m not optimistic.

Trump has an enormous supply of ad material but your second point needs to be made prominently.  She will regularly take care of your first point all by herself.

That’s pretty bad.  A planned, inherently vapid response, designed to show that she’s answered that question, and finds it ridiculous, even though it’s quite the opposite.

So either the accusations she made in the debate were empty and meaningless, or her response was in the clip.  There is no third option.

Next up:  Colbert won’t ask her why she put so many people in jail for so long for small marijuana charges.  Because, ha ha!  I was a cop!  Ha ha ha!  Ha.

    Ahem.  Hah!

She’s a horrifying choice. No doubt about it. But at least we’re all on notice that she says what she thinks she must to achieve her purpose. I’m afraid we will have plenty of opportunity to put that knowledge to use.

Found this brilliant comment on twitter about Kamala. I sorely want to take credit for it and just copy it here, but I won’t. (Besides I disagree partly because I don’t know which I think is worse: the AOC fanaticism or the Hillary cynicism):

All the reasons Bernie types hate Kamala (murderous uncharismatic bureaucrat) are reasons I like her more than the new generation of AOCs who actually believe the sh*t they’re selling. Same w/ Hillary (god I miss Hillary, what a queen)
