Beautiful.
The Lady of the Lake is in this one? Other than an arms distributor that is? Viviane, or maybe Vivien, or Nimue. Maybe it was Betsy. Lance’s step-mom. Artie’s armorer. Merlin’s student/girlfriend (and that didn’t go well for Merlin, but he doesn’t wanna talk about it). Married Sir Pelleas, eventually. Friends with Ceridwen and Brigid.
Or maybe I have her confused with another Lady of the Lake. Could be the wrong Lady. Could be the wrong lake.
She’s a lady and she’s in a lake.
A classic. I wonder what the grounds for cancelling it will be.
Sorry, I’m getting light-headed.
It’s the electricity. It makes things glow when it is too intense.
A book I read many years ago said that any time a Lady of the Lake shows up, it means that the story is about to take a significant, dramatic turn, but there are a lot of different versions of her.
The moistened bint of doom.
It’s not always something bad.
In that type of context, neither is doom.
Same one it will always be Percival; no one can force you to duel unarmed.
What, you mean just ’cause some watery tart throws a sword at you!
No, witling. Cancelling The Princess Bride. People weren’t woke then, you see. Therefore it has to be cancelled.
Let’s see. Sizism (Andre the Giant), whitewashing (Inigo), hetero-normative gender roles (Princess), lack of diverse characters (general), white-privileged race-normative (white royalty), ridicule of the disabled (speech impediment).
Rob Reiner was the director. Therefore Rob Reiner must be cancelled.
Suck that, Meathead.
Are these any good or are they just wearying people with too many of them? I find it hard to tell right now.
Take all the time you need, but keep going.
They’re great.
They seem to be getting to the Main Feed. It’s also the weekend. People aren’t messing around at work when they should be doing other things.
