Classless; Clueless; Embarrassing

The great ones make it look easy … Barack Obama is not one of the great ones! The former-president’s halting, forced, stilted, and obviously unrehearsed speech at the John Lewis funeral indicates he is not, as so many have suggested, “One of the World’s Greatest Orators!”

His speech was frantic, inappropriate, and delivered in that phony Black-patois he adopts whenever he is in front of real Black people. The clumsy way he peeked at his notes, rode roughshod over his applause lines, I’ve seen kids in middle-school with more rhythm and style.

He has, however, retained his arrogance.

And the less said about the content of his speech the better!

Take away the teleprompter and he has always been an angry, snobbish, arrogant, and nasty speaker.

There was a reason Ace of Spades HQ tagged him with the nickname SCOAMF (Stuttering Clusterfark Of A Miserable Failure) and stuttering was the first adjective.

His comment comparing the Federal law enforcement agents defending Federal courthouses and buildings to George Wallace using tear gas against peaceful demonstrators was especially obnoxious.

In 1972, George Wallace ran as a candidate for president in the Democrat Party. He won 5 of the 24 states in which the Democrats held a primary election (Florida, North Carolina, Michigan, Maryland & Tennessee) and his popular vote total in the primaries of 3,755,424 (23.48%) was a close third behind George McGovern 4,053,451 (25.17%) and Hubert Humphrey 4,121,372 (25.77%). This was after the mythical “party switch” progressives claim happened miraculously in the 1968 presidential elections (the party switch being that all the segregationists magically switched from the Democrat to the Republican party).

I imagine John Lewis’s soul is weeping at how badly that other black elected official praised him.

Unless it was a press conference. He’s the only person I know that could manage a seven minute answer to a yes/no question.

And then still not answer the question. His rambling was a great way to keep the number of questions low. Sorry I couldn’t get to your fourth question press, but we’ve already been here forty-five minutes and I need to get going.

If you call “not answering the damned question while insinuating anyone who disagreed with his non answer was a racists” managing.

I’ve said since I joined this community that I am no fan of President Trump, but I watch a speech like this from President Obama, and I understand perfectly why I am so angry all the time.  I would much rather have a Twitter drunk guy who gets pushback when he says something he shouldn’t in the White House than a guy who shovels bull**** down my throat while all the “nice” people tell me it tastes delicious.

That chin thing he does has always annoyed me greatly.  It reminds of a small child full of false pride.  However, that double image with il duce is really quite perfect.  I never saw it before.  Per their mannerisms in that still, they do look an awful lot alike.

I’m surprised you hadn’t seen it before as it was popular during Obama’s presidency, once someone noticed the resemblance. A lot of times it was accompanied with the French word for shower replacing Mussolini’s Duce.

I ditched Facebook years ago, and by the time I was on Ricochet, the Obama sun was setting.  Call me slow?

Not at all. I usually saw it at the aforementioned Ace of Spades but saw it occasionally elsewhere.

Yet, he effectively advanced the left’s power over our entire society, and his words this time are clearly aimed at leveraging the avatar of Lewis to secure the votes threatened by the left’s thuggish behavior and President Trump’s real results for blacks.

I don’t think it was true for Ronald Reagan or George W. Bush.  At least, neither of them gave me the impression that they were full of themselves in quite the same way as Barack Obama is….  I would agree that Donald Trump is also a narcissist, but this is pointed out so often that everyone knows it’s true.  I mean, there are plenty of Republicans who have questioned Donald Trump’s actions when they are bad.  Progressives just swoon at the great Barack.   It is no wonder he thinks he does no wrong.

I would agree with you about Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.  Also Harry S Truman the last President to not have a college degree.  All three had a great deal of common sense.

One of the most arrogant Presidents was Woodrow Wilson.

I saw a 15 second piece of his stump speech/eulogy and that told me everything – completely inappropriate, totally expected.  It’s a funeral for Pete sake, why let that go to waste! Everything he is and has been associated with is tainted.

Obama has set a new standard for the American presidency, one much more compatible with third world countries. He possesses no dignity, no respect for tradition. He is, as he always has been, a leftist agitator, community organizer. He came to the presidency far too easily boosted, perhaps, by a cabal funded by George Soros. He never respected the office or the men who preceded him. He came to fundamentally change that about which he had no real understanding. He was raised with values that had nothing to do with American values. He was and remains the Manchurian Candidate, far more dangerous than the fictional one, more insidious, more charismatic for some, and far more destructive to the American system than Donald Trump could ever be.
