Not only that, but Trump’s response to George Floyd’s death was appropriate and respectful. It ticks me off when people make things up about his behavior; he’s said enough inappropriate things without their lying and piling on. Thanks, Boris!

    From 2018:

New evidence uncovered by BBC Scotland has raised fresh questions about the way police officers treated a man who died in their custody.

Fife father-of-two Sheku Bayoh, 31, died in 2015 after being restrained by police in Kirkcaldy.

CCTV, other footage and documents obtained by the BBC casts doubt on some of the officers’ accounts of the events that led to the death.

Police Scotland said they could not comment while the case was ongoing … In October, Mr Bayoh’s family were told by the Lord Advocate there was not enough evidence to prosecute any of the officers involved.

She: The question/lecture, during Prime Minister’s Question Time yesterday, was posed by Kirsty Blackman, a member of the Scottish National Party. BoJo’s response speaks for itself.

I knew there was something about Boris that I liked!!  I wish he had asked Kirsty Blackman what was so appalling about Trump’s reaction to Floyd’s death.

That stood out for me as well.

BoJo really disliked Obama. He said his “part Kenyan” heritage inspired anti-British sentiment, and although the usual suspects’ heads exploded, Boris did not back down.  Between that and Obama’s comment that, in terms of international trade, Britain would have to go “to the back of the queue” (something else Boris is on record fulminating about) and the Churchill bust fiasco (part of the “part Kenyan” diatribe Boris launched while he was Mayor of London), I think it’s fair to say he could very well have been thinking of Obama when he said that.

Obama had the bust of Winston Churchill removed from the Oval Office. Winston Churchill.

Trump for all of his faults put it back hours after his administration started.

Now Trump is crass, boorish, childish, and vindictive. Also stubborn, patriotic, and loyal. So was Andy Jackson.

Obama is the eastern exposure of a horse headed west.

It’s a bit hypocritical of our press to criticize a foreign country working to favor one candidate or another in our elections when we’ve been doing it for years in Europe and even Russia. Obama really insinuated himself in the Brexit question as you aptly point out. The trouble was that he was on the wrong side.

Ha. His brother and father look the same way. They must have a thing about brushing or combing their hair.
