A Politician Dares to Speak the Truth
The question/lecture, during Prime Minister’s Question Time yesterday, was posed by Kirsty Blackman, a member of the Scottish National Party. BoJo’s response speaks for itself.

Not only that, but Trump’s response to George Floyd’s death was appropriate and respectful. It ticks me off when people make things up about his behavior; he’s said enough inappropriate things without their lying and piling on. Thanks, Boris!
Only “most of my lifetime”? Maybe he was thinking of Obama.

I knew there was something about Boris that I liked!! I wish he had asked Kirsty Blackman what was so appalling about Trump’s reaction to Floyd’s death.
That stood out for me as well.
BoJo really disliked Obama. He said his “part Kenyan” heritage inspired anti-British sentiment, and although the usual suspects’ heads exploded, Boris did not back down. Between that and Obama’s comment that, in terms of international trade, Britain would have to go “to the back of the queue” (something else Boris is on record fulminating about) and the Churchill bust fiasco (part of the “part Kenyan” diatribe Boris launched while he was Mayor of London), I think it’s fair to say he could very well have been thinking of Obama when he said that.
Obama had the bust of Winston Churchill removed from the Oval Office. Winston Churchill.
Trump for all of his faults put it back hours after his administration started.
Now Trump is crass, boorish, childish, and vindictive. Also stubborn, patriotic, and loyal. So was Andy Jackson.
Obama is the eastern exposure of a horse headed west.
I’m not feeling much love towards the conservatives. https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/06/british-conservatives-are-no-friends-of-unborn-life/?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WIR%20-%20Sunday%202020-06-07&utm_term=WIR-Smart
When the other option was Corbyn and his gang the Tories saved us all.
It’s a bit hypocritical of our press to criticize a foreign country working to favor one candidate or another in our elections when we’ve been doing it for years in Europe and even Russia. Obama really insinuated himself in the Brexit question as you aptly point out. The trouble was that he was on the wrong side.
Here Here – Bully! PS – when is that guy going to get a decent haircut?
Very nice. But Jesus, don’t they pay those guys enough to buy a comb?
Ha. His brother and father look the same way. They must have a thing about brushing or combing their hair.
All the best world leaders have signature hair.
