What Republicans Need to Do … But Won’t

Republicans should blanket every possible media, entertainment, and communication platform with ads relentlessly pointing out the following:

Democrats are the party of riots, race-baiting, and looting.

At least 13 Biden campaign staffers gave money to bail out rioters and looters.

Democrat bail policies have resulted in a revolving door for dangerous criminals.

These are the cops and innocent people killed by the rioters Democrats paid bail for.

This is why we need gun rights.

Democrats extended the economy-destroying lockdown needlessly, as evidenced by their refusal to enforce quarantine against rioters.

Why the Black Lives Matter narrative is a myth: some will say this is risky (or “divisive”) but we must hammer home the point that these riots were completely pointless, or else the Democrats will successfully enshrine them, in Orwellian fashion, as a Civil Rights milestone.

I’m probably forgetting many relevant things right now.

These ads should intersperse images of rioting and looting, along with protesters and Democrats encouraging, justifying, or excusing such behavior. These ads must play non-stop from here until the election. It may in fact be too late for this country and the campaign would fail, but we must try for the sake of our children and future generations so that the country will not become an Orwellian, balkanized nightmare of a failed state. We have nothing to lose at this point.

Why the Republicans won’t do it: They’re feckless cowards, and the donor class is transparently trying to appease the mob, as signaled by responses from George W. Bush, the Heritage Foundation, and others.

We’ll have to figure out a way to do it ourselves. While surrender before this herculean task may be tempting to some, in the end you will receive no peace, no mercy, and no quarter from the Leftist brownshirts. There is no returning to normal after this, and the domestic enemies of America (the leaders, not to be confused with their useful idiots) cannot be appeased or reasoned with. There is still a shrinking middle that can be persuaded right now, and a larger number of young people who may in the future realize with horror what the Left has done to America. But we must start now.

We have nothing to lose.

Aparently there’s now a video of black protesters abusing and strangling a puppy…

It’s just amazing what those white supremacist agitators can make folks do!

These people hand out mercy to the wicked while heaping injustice upon the heads of the innocent.

Well, the obvious answer would be to “grow a pair of stones” but that’s not going to happen.  Even back in 1992, there were some Chamber of Commerce Republicans that turned their noses up at Lee Atwater’s “Willie Horton” campaign ads (For Bush Sr.)

Atwater understood that, in war, sometimes it’s useful to adopt the other side’s tactics.  Even today, many establishment Republicans would rather “lose with honor”.  So, that’s the reason they’ve become synonymous with the word Loser.

Hate to say it, but I’d like to see 100 more Sid Blumenthals on the Republican side.  At least, Blumenthal understands the meaning of the word Win.

I take your point, but aren’t Democrats doing at least some of this for us?  Nightly news coverage of the violence, along with calls for “defunding” the police, get the point without much help.  What ought to happen is a huge effort to attract black voters, since once again their communities will be more affected by the violence and by a reduced level of policing.

Trump might do some law and order ads, but Rubio is probably sending money to Looters.

I wish they would do it, but in a low key way: no overly dramatic music or voices. Just have the videos and a sensible sounding narration, so that the pictures speak for themselves. How could the Republicans turn that down??

We simply can’t get the point across if the media and tech monopolies hide the information.  For example, Instagram (which I believe) is owned by Facebook just enacted new standards for censorship.  The only non-progressive news that apolitical youtubers will see is Fox, which is frankly kind of useless outside of Tucker Carlson at this point and he might not last long).

I am confident that Trump and his team have no qualms about producing a slew of “Willie Horton-like” ads and Joe Biden is senile and corrupt ads.

I doubt he’ll pull his punches like Bush or Romney.

My worry is that he will run into corporate donation problems…..they would not like this strategy, to say the least.  He can make up much of it in private donations, but there will need to be a lot of ads to get the message past msm interference.

I found something that we ourselves can do (courtesy of an Ace of Spades sidebar): spam this frikkin awesome video to as many people as we can, especially apolitical people who would absorb the msm narrative by osmosis (and like you enough to indulge you on this): https://www.facebook.com/realCandaceOwens/videos/273957870461345/

I’m going to make a separate thread for this video as I think it deserves a particular shout-out.  The most relevant stuff for OP purposes is contained at the 10:30 mark, but its worth listening to the earlier stuff.  As for the earlier stuff, I admit I never particularly cared what sort of man George Floyd was-it was irrelevant to the question of whether the officers were culpable in his death, and the wider issue regarding the lack of a racial motivation in his death, and generally speaking, other deaths at the hands of policemen.  I can, however, understand where she’s coming from, and why she regards it as so important, and why it might be important to other people in the black community.

The Republicans will turn down anything that doesn’t promote open borders for exploitable workers and free trade with authoritarian slave states.  They sneer at the prospect of soiling their hands on quaint issues like the Bill of Rights, or defending public order.

This was on Facebook and represents a liberal point of view.  I think that the truth is somewhere in between.

By and large, the Democrats I see and talk to are very upset that a police officer had his knee on a black man’s neck for over eight minutes, killing him.   I don’t know any Democrats who support the rioting.

There was one act of vandalism when a brick was thrown through the window at the Flagstaff Police Department.  The person who threw the brick was grabbed by the protesters who promptly turned him over to the police!

Which would be more believable if an entire part of a city weren’t completely destroyed.

So, you know, apply force to destructive people so we can see the protestors.

    But they don’t.

So I don’t see any difference.

Many Americans need to be taught some points from basic civics, which they didn’t learn in the public schools:

    1. Police forces are locally controlled.
    2. The Federal government has no jurisdiction over these local police departments.
    3. All of these incidents are happening in cities governed by “progressive” Democrats. Many don’t even have a single Republican on their city councils.
    4. They have had complete control over their police departments for many decades.
    5. Therefore, if you don’t like what a particular police force is doing, blame the local politicians.

Remember that the American population elected Nixon in response to all the rioting.
