Human beings are not rational beings. We struggle against our darker selves and we cannot always win. As humans, we cannot win alone.
 
We must have the Holy Spirit. On our this day celebration of Pentecost, we have so many reasons to feed our darker impulses. Listen instead to the Holy Spirit.
 
I am going to use today as a reminder. 
 
I am fallen. 
 
I need the Holy Spirit.
