Ahead of My Time

For decades now, I have been the victim of several narrow-minded individuals who constantly insist that I am a man behind the times when in fact I was far-sighted enough to realize that social distancing would be an important survival skill. I hope now that I finally get my due for being far enough ahead of the times that I am the most accomplished on the planet at this practice now so necessary for the saving of the world – with only one notable exception, he has just been at it longer.

I have thought far enough ahead to be well supplied to honor St. Patrick’s Day in fine, solo style. Crowds and parades are over-rated anyway!

I live alone on my sailboat half the year, alone in hotel rooms throughout the year. My main hobbies are reading Ricochet, doing the NYT crossword, and geocaching.  All three I prefer to do alone. So I’m good.

Except that she was going to fly over from Germany last week to hole up with me – whoops.

So then maybe to Canada quicklike, and I’d go pick her up. D’oh!

The I’ll just fly over there fast, get ahead of it. Nope.

So I guess it’s now crossword, geocaching, and WhatsApp.

According to the election judge that would require for them both to be in attendance for the recount – will see how hard that will be to arrange, so far there has been very little cooperation by either party

That raises more questions than I care to have answers for.

I wandered the woods today for a bit of social distancing. But the gators are chirping and I have a feeling they missed the memo.

There has been a new challenge from the Moderate Democrat.
