Bernie Wins Vermont; Biden Wins VA, NC
The polls just closed in two Super Tuesday states and several media outlets have already declared the winners. Unsurprisingly, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders (Communist-VT) won Vermont. And building on his big win in South Carolina, Joe Biden won Virginia. Stay tuned for more results later this evening!
Update (7:30 p.m. ET): Joe Biden declared the winner in North Carolina.

The fact that Bloomberg couldn’t win in Virginia despite the money he spread around in the state race last year just fills me with glee.
Good riddance to old fascists.
Part of me is eagerly looking forward to his inevitable collapse and withdrawal from the race…another part of me wants to see him stay in as long as possible, since every dollar he wastes on his own campaign is a dollar less he has to give to some other gun-grabbing Democrat (although I know this is eventually what’s going to happen…)
I’m looking forward to these split victories leading to a brokered convention because the Dems would have to send Bernie packing whether they choose Biden or someone else. And that would cause the Bernie Bros to either skip the election or jump ship and vote for Trump, either one would mean a huge victory for R’s and maybe retaking the House. That’s my dream anyway.
Hey Bloomberg won American Samoa! He can build from there!
