Here is why the Democrats are in such a state, and doggedly pursuing such a loser investigation-and-impeachment strategy:
The good news for Americans keeps coming: life expectancy up, drug deaths down, infants born with problems from drug-addicted mothers down.
All this before we even get to choose between four more years of this and whatever the DNC offers up on the presidential ballot. There’s many a slip twixt the cup and the lip, but 2020 could be a very good year for America and our republic.

Yet there are still folks out there (and on Ricochet) who would rather have had Hillary win . . .
OK, @ stad, you have laid out the challenge: Let’s hear from the Ricochet Hillary Wishers as to exactly how and why Hillary’s presidency would have accomplished as much or more.
Barring any negative economic surprises, Trump can go into the RNC convention asking the same question Reagan did in 1984 — “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” — and then let the Democrats and their nominee try to refute it.
OK, I’ll bite. If Hillary had won, life expectancy would be down, we would have 1% growth, we’d depose additional world leaders, the Clinton Foundation would be raking in the big bucks, but all of that is nothing. The most important thing is that the public discourse would have been polite and she would have been praised by European leaders.
My crystal ball is broken, but I’ll still make a prediction: Demos and Nevers will get their butts kicked up to between their shoulder blades.
…and Democrats and people at the big media outlets would be saying things might not be going as good as hoped (with Recovery Summer XII coming up this year), “But can you imagine what things would have been like if Trump had been elected president?“
I think the Democrats are now hoping for a coronavirus pandemic to damage the world’s economy.
Inquiring minds want to know whether steps are being taken to help it along.
All kidding(?) aside, here’s some info on surface disinfection to get rid of other infectious coronaviruses:
Thinking about it, wine vinegar sounds pretty old skool as a disinfectant, based on my vast knowledge attained from reading historical novels. FWIW, 70% isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) works better than 90% for some bacterial infections. Seems that 90% can dry biofilms and body fluids out, protecting the bacteria underneath the dried layer. 70% doesn’t do that as much. Between bleach, vinegar, PVP-I, and quaternary amines, I’d probably pick vinegar as the first line/least bad to use in enclosed living spaces for surfaces it won’t harm.
And the hits keep coming. Now the newest event recording a campaign promise kept is at the top of the page.
“President Trump ends NAFTA Nightmare, signs USMCA:”
Notice how the rest of the stories hit other big issues:
“Peace to Prosperity: A Vision to Improve the Lives of the Palestinian and Israeli People”
“President Trump: ‘The American Dream is Back and Bigger than Ever’“
President Trump Signs Landmark Phase One Trade Deal with China
The tweet box highlights the auto industry and USMCA as “a big win for American automakers.”
