One-Way Fact Checking
After seeing another “fact-check” story about all the lies the Trump defense team was putting forward I thought I’d Google to see if the House Counsel received any supervision whatsoever and imagine that… it doesn’t. Fact-checking is a sham, just like 99% of journalism
pfft, of course! Dems are like ladies. You have to believe them. it would be wrong to fact check them.
Any time I see in my news feed a politician accused or convicted of a sex offense and leaving office it is a Republican.
Use duckduckgo as your search engine.
Yep. Now, even the pretense of “journalism” is going away. That’s OK. The natural state of media is 100% paid content and we’ll be OK, if we are aware of it.
This is merely the latest example of the years long reality that “fact checks” are merely excuses to put forth a particular opinion. Besides the subject selection bias, “fact check” columns use selectively curated information and half truths at least as much as the targets they target. I skip over any article labeled “fact check.”
I assume you don’t live in California.
Absolutely true. Everything is an ad.
