Director Terry Gilliam: I’m Tired of White Men Being Blamed for Everything Wrong with the World

In an interview that breaks every rule of the Hollywood PR handbook, iconoclastic filmmaker Terry Gilliam said that white men are unfairly blamed for everything that is wrong in the world and that the #MeToo movement has become a witch hunt as well as an excuse for some women to avoid taking responsibility for poor decisions.

What will become of the Baron? I suspect that he’s going to be just fine and finally, a modicum of sanity may return to this culture.

Thank you, Mr. Gilliam.

    Good for Mr. Gilliam!

It helps to be 79 years old and financially comfortable. What can anyone do to him, really?

We need more rich old people to say, “Screw you” to the woke.

Much better version of Baron von Munchausen, starring the late, great Oleg Yankovsky:

Maybe it’s even more action-packed, which is not something one would usually say about Russian films of the era.

I hope he is ready to retire and have no projects currently in the works. I suspect he just cancelled himself.

Maybe. But if enough people do the same – speak openly and honestly, the cancel culture folks will be overwhelmed, and hopefully slink back to their holes.

    I’ll start:

Men are men, regardless of how they dress or what they wish. Women are women too.

    Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself.

This is one of those cases where a crazy old man (to be fair Gilliam has been a crazy old man for most of his life) has said something that some people agree with and some do not. But for some reason people find it worthwhile to point and shout “See?!?”

I’m pretty sure that Mr. G. holds many opinions dear that would set people here’s hair on fire. But yesterday’s radicals have become today’s regressive old men to the left (and probably the right).

I believe Mr. Cleese has also gotten himself in trouble lately for holding still while the world around him moved left.
