When Did the Obama Administration Begin Spying on Americans?

I doubt that the spying began with the Trump campaign. Opponents of the Iran deal suspected that they were spied on based on how quickly their ideas and arguments were countered by the Obama Administration. Was the Romney campaign under surveillance in 2012? It wouldn’t surprise me.

Obama grew up as a C(r)ook County Democrat. His campaign twice tried to shut down “The Milt Rosenberg Show” in 2008. Milt said that nothing like this had happened previously and he had hosted the program for more than 30 years. I think the rot was deep and it started at the top with Obama.

Of all his perfidious actions, I think it was handing literal palettes of cash to the Iranian Mullahs so that they could continue to fund terrorism that should have resulted in instant termination of his presidency. Second to that, his support of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama wasn’t just bad for our country, his administration harmed the entire world.

And the constant never-ending road construction on every expressway, no doubt kicking back business to donors or other “helpers.”

When they were first beginning the Toll Road, my father said the reason why it had the snakelike pattern was that it had to go through every piece of property owned by politicians. Illinois has been corrupt since Lincoln.

If Chicago had won in 2009 the right to host the 2016 Olympics, Daley would obviously have run for re-election since doling out the contracts would have been too lucrative. Chicago before the announcement resembled a Stalinist city with office buildings displaying signs saying we support the bid and so can you (please Mayor Daley don’t sic your building inspectors on us). I laughed when we were knocked out in the first round of the final day. On WGN radio they said in a shocked tone, “Chicago is out.” They didn’t necessarily expect us to win but they didn’t expect us to finish fourth. Obama’s legendary non persuasive skills must have been on display in the presentation to the IOC.

That promo video Obama made to try to entice them was just stupid.

Don’t you think that Obama’s entire life was lived as a privileged person? He was “clean and articulate” –sure! But he had spent so much time being catered to as the Multi-Cultural Being that he has probably never faced any situation that contradicted his sense of entitlement. Of course he’d become a state representative on his first try. Of course he’d be elected to the United States Senate on his first try. Of course he’d be elected POTUS on his first attempt. Gosh!

That Olympics failure was probably the first time his Radiant Special-ness didn’t work.

Through all 8 years of that slimeball, I kept saying I wished everyone could be from Chicago like me. Then they’d see instantly that he was running the White House the same way the old Mayor Daley ran the city: corruption, kickbacks, cronyism, and probably blackmail too.

Not that this bothered Chicago liberals during all those 8 years….

I believe the evidence suggests that when the Republicans in Congress shut down the IRS intimidation of prominent Tea Party participants in late 2012 ,

And the political interference of the government in power got turbocharged when no one went to jail for that particular stunt.

The audit ordered by Admiral Rogers in early 2016 showed that 85% of the thousands of searches audited were unauthorized politically motivated searches

I had not known that @unsk. Would you post some citations, please? Thanks.

I dont think the Obama administration was spying on the Trump Campaign. I think they where spying on all Republican Campaigns. Remember when George Papadopoulos was first approached by the FBI entrapment agents, in early 2016, he was working for the Carson Campaign. At this time, the democrat media complex was propping up Trump in the hopes that he’d go deep into the primaries and do signifigant damage to the eventual nominee (I think at this time, they imagined that would’ve been Jeb! Rubio or Cruz – Keeping in mind that in the democrat world view, the establishment players have a formal leg up on outsiders, with their advantages encoded into the nomination selection process)

I am not normally a fan of Steven Crowder, but when he merges facts with ridicule, its extremely effective:

A quick video, that summarizes the IG report, and the media responses. Also calling out liars for being liars.

edited – to correct typos, on the lairs of the liar…

Oh you did? Wow. I remember very well how, under Daley, they called it “The City That Works.”

I think it was Carl Sandburg who said that.

Gummy:” I think we need public answers about this situation.”

You are absolutely correct. A major failing I think of the Horowitz report on the FISA court was that it apparently did not expose NSA database search problem to the general public as it rightly should have , which kinda calls into question what was Horowitz doing and who was he protecting?

    Well, yes. I suppose.

Another question I’d like to see asked: Why did none of the violations of FISA rules surface during Mueller’s investigation?

One would think a first step in any investigation is to validate your assumptions.
