This “protective class” crap is the antithesis of the American ideal of equality. Because so much of it is used in the same manner you’re using it here: as nothing more than a shield against political criticism. That’s the same kind of bull crap that makes one black man “a staunch defender of civil rights” and makes Clarence Thomas an “Uncle Tom.”
If Adam Schiff’s religion makes his behavior unassailable or prevents me from likening him to a bird brain or inferring that his impeachment show is a real Turkey then your precious First Amendment isn’t worth the parchment it’s written on.
This is the first I’ve ever heard of Schiff being Jewish. Out of all the complaints people have made about Schiff, I have never heard anyone criticize him for being Jewish, so I highly doubt that was in EJ’s mind. This is like people saying that the only reason anyone is critical of Barack Obama is because they hate black people.
