Obama: ‘Hey, Pajama Boy, Chill Out’

During the recent Obama Foundation’s third annual summit in Chicago, “The Woken One” said that current Wokeniks are not being civil enough.

“One danger I see among young people, particularly on college campuses, is that I do get a sense among certain young people, and this is accelerated by social media, that the way of me making change is to be as judgmental as possible about other people and that’s enough. Like if I tweet or hashtag about how you didn’t do something right, or used the wrong verb, then I consider that I can feel pretty good about myself because, ‘man did you see how woke I was, I called you out.’ That is not activism, that is not bringing about change. If all you’re doing is casting stones, you are probably not going to get that far.”

Coming from the person who practically fueled and encouraged these antics to thrive during his administration? No, Mr. Obama: you own this mess.

BHO’s lack of self awareness is total.

    Absolutely.

Plus, what he’s really doing here (see your boldfaced line) is calling the Woke to more aggressive forms of activism. You know, cancelling people on social media . . . that’s small potatoes. “Antifa” antics — smashing things and beating people up — now that’s how you organize a community, right? Instead of casting figurative stones on the internet, cast real stones! Break those bones! That’ll show em!

He “They” created wokeness as a sword to wield against the Right and Conservatives. Now that the sword seems to have more edges and seems to be wielded against those that created and used it most, well maybe it was not a good thing. Amazing.

The anger on the far left over Obama not being an Alpha male as president bubbles under the surface, in part because the media doesn’t want to report the rift (and also because the far left knows Obama’s supporters still have those race cards to toss back at them). But it’s there.

The hyper-woke angry types in 2008 knew Obama was lying about his most progressive positions, in order to fool swing voters. But they also thought he was lying about his laid-back ‘professorial’ temperament, and once sworn into office would show himself to be an overt Social Justice Warrior, and take ownership of things like arresting Bush and Cheney for war crimes, using the FCC to shut down talk radio and Fox News, and essentially smite all their political enemies.

Obama wasn’t that guy, and the people around him were more focused on health care, because the last time the Democrats held the White House and Congress, Hillary had botched health care, and it didn’t get done before the 1994 mid-term wipeout.

Obama may have done things like sic the IRS on conservative groups or even give the green light to the FBI and Justice for their counter op against Trump, but all that’s behind the scenes. The woke crowd thinks Obama was a spineless wimp for not using government to shut down conservatives completely when he had the chance in 2009-10, and he knows they think that, which is what the above comment’s about. They don’t have his back anymore and think they can get a real hardcore left crusader like Bernie or Liz into office, and Obama can feel the disdain.

I thought I could take credit for the term ‘Wokeniks’, unfortunately Alex Beam of the Boston Globe beat me to the punch.

The post title and quote are at odds. He’s not discouraging them from ranting. He’s saying don’t congratulate yourself until you do more. The post title makes it sound like BHO is the one being reasonable, recommending people to chill out. He’s not. He’s being an instigator, still. I hate this. This is creating friction in families (’nuff said).
