Unfortunately, some fool GOP Congress critter is going to take this Meisterwerk and stumble with it.

I don’t want to see an impeachment.  I want the guy destroyed at the polls in 2014.  Of course neither is likely to occur.

    “Great analysis, Jim. Thank You.

“I suggest to keep in mind the old adage,’Defense loses championships.’ So, if Yer 3 and 4 seeds, or any ‘super dark horses’ are to win, then they will have to lighten up and make some noise.

“Now, let’s throw it over to the Membership Feed for the latest update.”

It’s obvious that Dick Vitale didn’t draft this bracket; Duke is nowhere to be seen.

The average citizen does not keep track and couldn’t care less. You are going to have to find a scandal that hits everybody hard in the pocketbook before the average joe will take notice.

In one week we have dinner with my husband’s brothers and wives. If these folks, some of the most liberal, socialist people I know, even so much as bat an eye about Obama and/or his administration’s recent scandals….only then I will jump on the impeachment bandwagon. My gut tells me that they will do the usual “let’s blame the Republican’s” and won’t blame Obama for anything.

A 12 seed always does damage in the Tourney, as Obama knows well from filling out his brackets every year. I think he should look out for “National Treasury Employees Union.” They are this year’s Florida Gulf Coast!

There’s only one minor flaw in the seeds in your brackets, which is going to hurt the entire tournament:

    They’re all Bush’s fault.

I actually ended up with more than 64 in my master list. Had to edit down the scandals to allow for next week’s drama.

Your #1 seeds are strong. I think it’ll come down to “Profiling Tea Party” and “Not Sending Rescue Mission” as the odds-on faves to reach the finals.

But don’t sleep on the #3 seed in the Obamacare region, “HHS Asking Companies for Money.” It would reach the finals for sure if not for all the great competition. It first has to get past “Doctors Leaving System,” which is my super dark horse. But I think the Docs  are going to be stronger in the 2014 bracket. Lots of five- and four-star recruits reconsidering their commitments.

I was one of the first people to download the Obama Scandal Manager app, but soon learned that it managed a maximum of four scandals.  They keep saying an updated that manages up to seven scandals will be uploaded to the Apple App Store, but it’s been a week now, and still no update.

Does anyone know of a rival product of this kind, perhaps for Android?

A favourite of mine was writing himself into all (or at any rate, most) of the presidents’ bios on the official WH website, so that the glories of all the past presidents could be seen in their proper context:  namely, how they relate or compare to the Obama presidency, the standard against which all others are measured … and then, after attention is called to the edits, they are wiped.  Can you get that on one line?  The compact description of each title is the central genius of your piece.

I heard the purpose of the app was to locate those interested in Obama scandals for special attention of various government departments and agencies. I suspect an IRS or DHS agent will be by shortly to see to your education on these subjects.

My money’s on the AP phone records because, as we all know, this is the only scandal about which the press will actually give a damn.

I bet even Obama would fill out one of these if it gave him some face time on ESPN.

You know what ? The average citizen doesn’t vote to impeach, the average congressman does .

Do you really think that the American People would have voted to do to Nixon and Clinton what might happen here ?

That is the great fallacy that the media uses to their advantage.  Us regular joes have nothing to do with it . But the institutional memory has been shaped to reflect those incidents as national movements, when there were only 535 reps doing the dirty work.

The IRS scandal fills that bill nicely.  Everybody is scared of the IRS, and they went after working class people who couldn’t fight back.

I wonder if the IRS leaned on John Roberts before the Obamacare decision?

Is there no “play in” scandal in this year’s bracket?

Reagan-era Speaker of the House Tip O’Neill has some words of wisdom, courtesy of “Da Tech Guy”,

This is not an accident, the left understand that talk of impeachment now would be a disaster, not to the president, but to those building the case against him.

As Tip O’Neill notes [in his biography] public opinion led the congress on impeachment.  [Nixon-era] Democrats were hesitant to move forward until polls showed otherwise.

For those of us trying to keep track, suffering from age, work and marriage induced “CRS” (Can’t Remember $417 – grin), please add the following other scandals:

    1. Pigford, (in honor of Brietbart)
    2. Fast ‘n Furious (2 feds dead, hundreds of mexicans dead, etc)
    3. notRecess NLRB/CFPB Appointments (2 for 2 ruled unconstitutional)
    4. Green Energy Stimulus Bankruptcies (e.g. Solyndra, Fisker, A123, etc)
    5. EPA (e.g. FOIA Fee favoritism, crucifixion policy, …)
    6. Obama’s News Media Enemies List (e.g. AP bugging, Fox/CBS bugging, etc)

“Extortion 17”, the disaster in Afghanistan in August 2011,  is the other…and worse than…Benghazi.  Trust me.  If you haven’t read about this, I suggest you do so.  The press conference on 9 May at the National Press Club building shows evidence of the same political correctness, the same distorted rules of engagement, the same post-event  deception and lies as demonstrated in Benghazi.  But, with Extortion 17 there were 26 Americans, mainly Special Forces, who died, along with 7 Afghans.  Again, it is worse than Benghazi.
