Prime Minister’s Questions this past week foreshadowed the American government’s future. Such a future had been seen as years, or decades, away, but events of this past week suggest the United States has entered a
More than the British Labour Party, the US Democratic Party is a coalition of inherently mutually hostile factions.
British Jews have more generally been associated with the Conservative Party; whereas they have been solid Democrats in the US. The US Democratic Party also has the inherent competition and conflict between blacks and Latinos.
To prevent its coalition from fracturing, the Democratic Party will have to progressively whip its members into a murderous frenzy against the normals.
How frightening and depressing. Your analogy of the wormhole is, unfortunately, accurate. I see no end in sight to this vileness and hate. Now we can see who the real deplorables are. But if the Republicans don’t speak up, they will have earned the same label. Thanks, Clifford.
The whole intersectionality project is inherently unstable. Such instability keeps coalition members in line in the short term, as each fears suddenly falling from favor. I do not see how it can be sustained long term.
Things are (intellectually) crazy.
Give thanks for the 2nd Amendment. Buy guns. Buy Ammo. Vote.
That is our Bulwark (heh) against insane tyranny.
Thank you for this; it’s a great and sad summary of the situation.

And all those so-called “Republicans” who said we needed to give the House to the Democrats because the President has mean tweets, these anti-Semites belong to you, too.
Think logistics, too. Buy guns that have a ready supply of replacement (meaning interchangeable) parts. Choose guns that are chambered for common and widely-available calibers. Buy ammo that can be reloaded. Remember to buy powder and primers. Learn how to reload.
Zero your rifles, and then practice, practice, practice.
Vote.
It is often remarked that the Jews are the canaries in the coal mine, attacked first by evil that then turns on others. Part of Jew-hatred is de-humanizing the targets, casting people in words and images as non-human.
Ilhan Omar is a Jew-hater, who learned her hate in a community saturated with gross stereotypes and conspiracy theories about Jews. So it is not surprising that, when she is pressed about her Obama and Trump remarks, she would respond that Trump is not human.
This is, of course a bit further than Nancy Pelosi was willing to go, saying that the House should not pursue impeachment because “he’s just not worth it.”

Power Line is the go-to source on Minnesota politics, including Rep. Ilhan Omar. Just one relevant example from February, “In the Busy World of Crazy:”
