This is fantastic. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of race baiting baby killers.

This just exposes what I’ve always known: that the South is still Dixiecrat territory. It would be nice if black voters finally noticed it. But this whole flap isn’t even about blackface. I’m pretty sure the Dems have known about that yearbook page since at least last October. The only reason they’re making this into banner headlines right now is to drown out that soundbite of Northam matter-of-factly describing delivering a live baby and then dispassionately allowing the mother to “decide” whether or not she wants to kill it. It has been born. It is alive. They can no longer say it has anything to do with “the health of the mother.” At this point it can only have to do with her convenience. Does she want to still be able to go out clubbing, is that it? Or maybe the baby isn’t pretty enough? No matter, it’s her choice.

That little speech that day was a shocking descent into utter depravity, and it turned a lot of pro-choicers into pro-lifers instantly, and they know it.

“We hit it off, she was very interested in me” sounds a little . . . revealing.

Oh, this caught them off guard. Making Northam more controversial when he can’t actually be forced out is not exactly a helpful distraction.

The reason this came out now is because Northam’s abortion comments infuriated one of his medical school classmates. So it is indeed a direct consequence of that.

Does anybody else see the beginnings of a massive upheaval on the Left? It seems that every major story involves Leftists eating their own. Not only these Virginia clowns, but the harassment of Howard Shultz, , the never-ending #Me Too movement, the start of Democrats distancing from Alexandria Occasional Cortex. Pocahontas is getting crap. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Donna Brazile were thrown under the bus for reasons concerning Hillary. And don’t forget that Hillary was openly booed and heckled during her own acceptance speech at the Democrat National Convention. Feminist groups are now butting heads with the Transgender Community, and Blacks are starting to support Trump.

This all reminds me of the people in all Communist governments who end up persecuting each other in the feeding-frenzy grab for power. It inevitably leads to collapse. The fact that there are going to be so many combatants vying for the Democratic nomination for President could lead to mud-slinging and political correctness like we have never seen before (except against Trump, of course).

Yes, that’s who released the yearbook, but did you notice them all just after the abortion soundbite? Every last one of them including Pelosi, when asked what they thought of Northam’s comments about the live birth, all said, “What? I don’t know what he said” or “I don’t know anything about that” etc. It was so obvious. How could they not know what he had said, it was ridiculous. I feel certain they are using this yearbook thing to drive the live birth soundbite from the headlines. They’re terrified.

For them to act all outraged about the yearbook when they’ve known about it all this time is also ridiculous. If it made them so angry, why didn’t they themselves out him back in October.

I am wondering if in the short term it really might just lead inevitably to Joe Biden. Just because he starts ahead, he’s often perceived as most likely to beat Trump, and he seems most likely to brazen things out in aw-shucks manner while the others splinter into various forms of socialism and apology.

After all their talk of needing a fresh face and new blood, the new blood turns out to be an embarrassing Communist who has no idea how money works even though she has a degree in economics, Cory Booker who’s been accused of sexual assault by a man after his self-righteous grandstanding over Kavanaugh, Kamala Harris the “feminist” who slept her way to where she is and when she left CA was under investigation for malfeasance as Attorney General, etc etc.

This is a group who can make even Joe Biden look good. Not an easy feat.

Obama was wimpy enough, but I’ve often wondered how we will be perceived if we have a President who is a man who has undergone cosmetic surgery and hair implants. Isn’t this the antithesis of a macho-man, an alpha male? Europe would probably love him.

Wow! I haven’t heard of the Booker accusation. I just learned last week about Kamala Harris sleeping with Mayor Willie Brown. There are too many of these stories to keep up with!

I actually don’t think they knew about it all these months. For one thing, once the press (or the Democrats) finally started digging they eventually found an embarrassing yearbook involving a Republican senator. If they’d been checking on yearbooks they’d have had that story ready to go to press within hours of Northam’s, if they hadn’t leaked it sooner.

Of course they’re hypocrites. I have no doubt national Democrats whose top priority is abortion are OK with having an excuse to dump on Northam for something different. But Virginia Democrats’ top priority is staying in elected office and this is amazingly unhelpful to that end. It’s not just an embarrassing story from the past, it exposes all the blatant dishonesty of the last election campaign. Northam is so estranged from his party and in such a mess right now that he just folded and gave the legislative Republicans their tax cuts.

In the 2008 cycle, I mentioned the hair plugs and the plagiarism to a 26-year-old, and he’d never heard of any of it. I would hope it would all come out should he run. I’m not sure he’d risk it, but we shall see. He’s just such an idiot. I always thought Obama only chose him for assassination insurance.

The yearbook was sent to Dan Bongino in October, so I thought if he knew about it then they must have too. But who knows. I think they may have been excited about the prospect of a black guy being the one who’d replace him, but that was before they knew about the #metoo lady. Haha! What a tangled web for them Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch.

It strains credulity, to put it mildly, that not one single Democrat had heard a single peep about Northam’s saying right out loud that it is okay to kill a live baby who has already been born, and yet…

    (bold type is mine)
    ……………

During a Thursday press conference, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) suggested she had not heard controversial comments Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D.) made about abortion the day prior.

“You often talk about the diversity of viewpoints in the Democratic caucus. There are pro-life Democrats in your group. Considering the comments from Governor Northam yesterday, how does that make it harder for pro-life Democrats in the party and does that cause problems?” a reporter asked.

“I’m sorry, I just don’t know what he said yesterday,” Pelosi responded.

She then turned to other reporters who raised their hands to ask questions.

“Are you going to ask a new question or is it the same old, same old?” Pelosi asked, prompting laughter.

    https://freebeacon.com/politics/pelosi-on-northams-abortion-comments-i-just-dont-know-what-he-said/

    …………………………………………………

It’s the weirdest thing – no Democrats seem to have been aware of Northam’s abortion comments:

That’s a real headscratcher, I tell you what. Big coverage yesterday in right-wing media, some in mainstream media, plus public condemnation by multiple Republican senators. Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Ben Sasse all chimed in, with Sasse calling Northam to “get the hell out of office” if he can’t refrain from supporting infanticide. And this is all taking place amid a battle over abortion laws in two blue states, New York and Virginia, the latter still something of a battleground in presidential elections.

No one knows nothing about nothing. Go figure.

    …………………………

But boy howdy were they ever on it the minute that yearbook came to light. It’s just amazing.

I don’t see any reason for him to resign. By Democrats’ own words, they have no morals except for power. Wasn’t it Leaky Leahy who said at one point, that the problem with you Republicans is that you have morals? This after a Republican and a Democrat were accused of the same nefarious behavior within weeks of each other. The Republican was driven out of town. The Democrat continued to serve. I don’t remember who it was, but he may well still be there.

I don’t pretend to understand it fully, but it seems to be saying that if Lieutenant Governor Fairfax resigns, along with the other two miscreants, then Republican Stephen Newman, the President Pro Tempore (is that president of the Latin club?!) of the Virginia Senate would take his place.

Also with the three-way resignation, Republican Kirk Cox, the Speaker of the House, would become Governor. If Attorney General Mark Herring resigns before the General Assembly Session ends on February 23, he would be replaced by a vote of the General Assembly (?). It should be noted that the Virginia General Assembly consists of the House of Delegates and the Senate, both of which hold the slimmest possible Republican majorities. If Herring resigns after February 23, whoever is the Governor at the time will appoint his successor.

Someone thought that the person in the klan hoodie was of very slight build, and may have been a woman – his date to whatever party they’d dressed up for? I know he’s married in 1987 – wouldnt it be quite the scandal, if the person under the klan hood is his wife? I have no proof – just pure speculation. That kind of revelation would certainly take the scandal thermal-nuclear. (She was also smarter – picking a racist costume, that also hid her face – possibly saving herself future embarrassment)

I love the idea of Steve Newman being Lieutenant Governor in place of Fairfax, but that would be a major loss for those in the central to southwestern portions of the Commonwealth. He is reliably conservative based on his deeply held convictions and a real asset to the area. Actually, it may not surprise me if he refused the position (if available) to let it fall to the next in line since he is such an asset to the Lynchburg-Bedford area.

(He was my state senator the whole time I lived in Virginia.)

I find that I can bear the troubles of the race-baiting, infanticide-enthusiast Virginia Democrats with great fortitude. Its Karma for their portrayals of Ed Gillespie, Corey Stewart, and Judge Kavanaugh.

I think it was Cuccinelli I read explaining that he wouldn’t become lieutenant governor but merely assume the duties of the office — so that he wouldn’t have to resign? The article said he could even vote on a bill as a senator and then again to break a tie as Lt. Gov if needed.

It does all seem unnecessarily confused and maybe Virginia could use a little constitutional housekeeping once this is all over.

Keep in mind that VA legislators are part time legislators. Except where they may be retired, most have day jobs that they attend to the 9 to 10 months of the year they don’t work in Richmond. If Ken Cuccinelli gave the summary you read, it’s probably trustworthy.

Erasing history seems to be a theme in some former Confederate States. It began with statues and has now moved to yearbooks. Make no mistake it is not acts that motivates the new Revolutionaries. Purity must protect the message, the messengers are expendable. There will be no mourners for the fallen, one doesn’t mourn for those who are best forgotten.

If, as reported, Governor Northam is refusing to resign because he will henceforth and forevermore be labeled a racist if he does, he is absolutely correct. No forgiveness, no hope on the Left.

That is some spectacular Karmic justice. I might feel bad for him if Doctor (pediatrician!!) Northam hadn’t revealed himself to be an infanticidal maniac.
