ACF Middlebrow #23: Harold Ramis
Pete Spiliakos and I bring you a discussion about The Prophet of Trump, the most successful comedy writer of the ’80s, who just happened to suggest that a vulgar, loud, billionaire real estate developer (Rodney Dangerfield) or a snake-oil salesman who treats women shabbily (Bill Murray) might destroy our conservative and progressive elites. Listen, share, and comment, friends!

Oooh I can’t wait. But I’ll have to. Sad-faced emoji.
Looking forward to listening to this later!
Enjoy! Is boy at the game?
Morning Titus,
Fabulous to the nth, Mary ask about the language, but she’s English. You know several writers from MacIntyre to Orson Scott Card to Paul Tripp have said that the stories we tell each other are telling and influential, and if we have gone from “Mister Smith Goes To Washington” to a more thoroughly cynical view of government, then aren’t we in dangerous times? Also aren’t the Western elites pressing their entitlement even further as well as being more openly disdainful of the common Joe. Again a wonderful discussion.
Game? No comprende.
Boy is vacuum cleaning and dusting the boys’ room in his dinosaur onesie. I need to get a picture of all of us in our Christmas onesies (I was given a llama suit, Max has an Eeyore, my oldest has a Rainbow Dash, Martin got a Spider Man, number one daughter got Cookie Monster and the youngest a pink owl… Papa Toad was happy to be left out)
Just starting in on listening now, along with a pile of pernicious socks… It’s not as bad as when I was a schoolgirl and my three sisters and I all wore dark blue socks with our Catholic school uniform, but they do back up.
Agreed down the line! Thanks for the compliments!
