Morning in Myrtle Beach
I’m currently in Myrtle Beach with an old friend from Raleigh. We rented a resort condo for a week of watching the bowl games. I’ve been sleeping on a Murphy bed in the living room, so I catch the morning sun as it rises. I got up and walked out on the balcony to this:
Nothing like a breath of fresh, chilly air along with a beautiful view to get your blood pumping . . .

Is that a horse in the water?
I am not a morning person but that sort of sight makes rising early more than worthwhile.
Someone kneeling to look at something in the water. At least we know it isn’t a thirty-foot Great White . . .
With a rider, if my eyes do not deceive.
I zoomed in on the original picture. It’s a guy with a gal behind him.
But yes, it does kinda look like a horse and rider . . .
Stad,
Sometimes nature just knocks your eyes right out of your head. Have a great stay by the ocean.
Regards,
Jim
Here’s an early morning picture from Myrtle Beach in September.
Oh the Redneck Rivera in the morning.
This would have been good info to have when I was deciding where to take a road trip to!
A toad trip?? :)
We’re having a Meetup to visit @cbtoderakamamatoad (Mama Toad). I suppose he was thinking about it . . .
Tell me when and how many and I’m your gal!
The swamp and Toad Hall await!
LOL don’t tempt the Ricochetti, an army may show up at your doorstep!
There is no “bad” view of the ocean, in my opinion. It is one of my favorite places. We got to live near this kind of view for almost twenty years, in two different parts of SoCal. If I were a gazillionaire, I’d live there again. You’ve made a good choice for a vacation. But, how can you watch TV with that ocean out there to look at??
I just need 24 hours notice… I have six kids so I’m used to cooking for a crowd!
At first I thought, “renting a place just to watch TV?” But then I thought, “Off-season rates, ocean views, no wives, football . . . “ You are living the dream, Mr. Stad!
You forgot beer, pizza delivery,
women’s volleyball team in the next roombody noise contests . . . life is good!Dawn at Duck.
