The White Lib’s Burden

Progressives currently get more votes than conservatives but lose elections due to their density in a few blue states. A simple, though tough, solution presents itself. With apologies to the original:

Take up the White Lib’s burden—
Move out into the weeds—
Move with your pets to exile
To serve your planet’s needs
To live in bad conditions
With stupid folk and wild—
Your new-met, sullen neighbors,
Half devils and half child

Take up the White Lib’s burden
In patience to abide
Among those who sow terror
In guns and trucks they pride;
By open speech and simple
A hundred times make plain:
“You’re voting against your interest!
Tax the rich and gain!”

Take up the White Lib’s burden—
And reap his old reward:
The blame of those you better
The hatred of the hordes—
The cry of those you humor
(Ah slowly) to the light:
“Why brought you us from bondage,
“Our loved ‘Murican night?”

Take up the White Lib’s burden—
Have done with childish fun—
The lightly proffered retweet,
The lazy Sunday brunch.
Comes now, to live in red states
And turn them all to blue,
Elect the next Obamas,
And save the ice caps too!

The line, “half devils and half child” is religiously exclusive.

But what can you say instead. You can’t say, “half savage half child,” that’s offensive to Native peoples. You can’t say, “half psycho half child,” because that’s offensive to the mentally ill.

How about, “half caveman half child,”? Would that work better?

No, that implies that people with more Neanderthal ancestry are inferior.  You monster.

Give it time. Whites and Asians are 1% Neanderthal. In our near lifetime, leftism will turn against Asian-American because they are successful in American society. At the same time, leftists in Britain will turn against Sikhs because they are the richest religion in Britain with the exception of British Jews. Then, insulting Neanderthals will be OK.

I won’t claim that I’m responsible for him being the way he is, but Lazy-Millennial does work in our office.

Hey, I moved to the boondocks simply because we worked from home and here the rent was cheap. (One thousand a month to live under 1200 acre open space tract with eagles, hawks, cougar and now a bear vs 4,300 a month in San Francisco area.)

We brought our liberal values with us. Over time we have become “stupid and wild” — or perhaps simply through co-mingling with the area’s original inhabitants,  we have evolved.

I met and was chatting for a good bit with tatted out 40+ feminist from Oregon the other night at a bar where I sometimes go to play pool and drink a brewski.

I got up to get a beer and a guy moved into my seat.  I congratulated him for taking my seat and ‘making his move on my ladies.’

The feminists says, ” First of all, (who on God’s green Earth could guess what might come next?) we are not your “babes.”

Me:  “No [expletive]”  Then I walked away to play pool and won.

@henrycastaigne, why is the trigglypuff in your meme a redhead with glasses? I used to resemble that character, but I’ve never felt like that…Stereotypical! :-)

This lack of a sense of humor is a really tiresome side effect of ‘feminism’; lighten up, Frances! :-) (Happy Monday, ST.)
