Yes, the admin are idiots! Seriously?? This poor guy is d—ned if he does, and d—ned if he doesn’t do his job. I certainly hope the other parents speak up and deal with this. Only parent voices count in the school system. (and I say that as a teacher…)
I am assuming this school is in a leftist area? Serious question, I don’t have children, so am not very familiar with school stuff, but it is times like these I thank God we don’t have a centralized school system. In Scotland, the LGBT agenda is mandated from central command and enforced in every school in the country: I assume that here it is more of a reflection of different communities? Do I have that right?
Also, thank God for all who came before us and fought for the right to private schools and homeschooling.

Forcing a teacher to use compelled speech should be a violation of the First Amendment. In Canada, forget it. You’re facing fines and other possible penalties…like incarceration for refusing to pay any penalties – or what Dr. Jordan Peterson objected to when he opposed Bill C-16 and became an overnight celebrity.
As to forcing a male teacher to watch a female minor undress, from a cursory glance on the internet for indecency, voyeurism laws it doesn’t appear to address this specific scenario. We may be in uncharted waters. As to letting this female minor undress and shower with male minors, I would think a case could be brought by parents of the male students that the female minor may actually be “identifying” as a male for lewd and lascivious intent thus violating statutes on voyeurism despite any claims to the contrary. One wonders if the entire football team announced that they were identifying as female and marched into the girl’s locker room after practice what kind of chaos would ensue. Clearly if they were reprimanded in any way by the school’s administrators, they could sue the school district for millions. It’s worth a shot, anyway.
If he placed a camera in the girls locker room, he would be dismissed for invading their privacy. Yet a girl is allowed to invade the privacy of the boys. What happens if one of them makes a pass at her?
I’m not sure how this doesn’t get challenged on creating a harmful work environment for the teacher. I’m not sure what goes on at Google or Facebook or any of the “woke” companies in Silicon Valley but if a contingent of male employees one day declared that they were identifying as women and began using the Ladies rooms throughout the company’s buildings whether this would be tolerated or whether HR would fire this group of “new women”…but if they did, then wouldn’t the terminated employees have a case for wrongful termination based on gender discrimination?
Even if we accept the nonsense that a person has a “right” to be comfortable, at some point we have to ask how many others must be made uncomfortable to guarantee that “right.”
At the college level I would have no compunction to take a peak if I were the gym teacher but at the high school level that is just wrong at so many levels. (sarc off)

I was a teenage boy once. I wouldn’t be able to not stare at a naked girl. Pretty much every heterosexual boy in history is unable to stare at a naked girl. That is a central part of the story of Acteon and Dianna. Boys are bewitched by a naked female.
What I don’t understand is that girls don’t care if another girl dresses in boy’s clothes and likes boy stuff. That was used to be called a Tomboy and they showered together without any problems. Why not have the transgendered person just shower with the girls and be a transgender in every other way? How would it hurt her/him?
A very sensible man I worked with in OK was on the school board in a small town in central Oklahoma. He declined to run for a third term because he said 90% of the decisions they made were nothing more than how they could manage to comply with Federal and State mandates. So, no, local control is not actually a thing.
What happens if she is “inappropriately touched”? would this teacher be liable? Is there even a remote chance something like this would not play out?
Simple , although, expensive solution: Facilities need to have 3 types of Bathroom and Locker Room. Male ( only those XY and physically unmodified. Straight or Gay doesn’t matter. ), Female ( only those XX and physically unmodified. Straight or Gay doesn’t matter. ) , and Other (whoever, whatever ). Requires 50% more bathrooms and locker rooms, but gives a refuge for the private & non political who just want to go about their lives.

So jut going to throw this out there. Why is it any worse for a hetero teacher of either sex to watch an opposite sex child disrobe, but it’s OK for a gay teacher to watch a same sex child to disrobe? I mean that is where we are isn’t it?

It is. Human behavior, and sexuality in particular, can lead us to some strange places, which makes fashioning coherent policies pretty much impossible — and that’s without piling social, cultural, and political differences on top of things. At least the biological approach (i.e. males supervise males; females supervise females) has the virtue of handling 98% (or whatever the number is) of cases and is fairly straight forward to administer. Like so many things, trying to sort that last 2% is extremely difficult to do without making things worse.
If this person were a real boy, he would be delighted to do all this in the girls’ presence.

No, it’s not simple. Some of the “other” people might not want other “others” to see them undress. Further, some of the “other” people will claim to be stigmatized by being excluded from the locker room that they want to use.
The simple solution is to reject the entire trans agenda.
Not only that, but it’s expensive to install new bathroom facilities. This will be the last straw for smaller community schools that will not get permission to grandfather their old facilities into the next improvement, so will close the school and consolidate with larger ones that are more firmly in the grip of the progressive establishment and less under the influence of parents and the local community. Similar requirements have been the cause of death of smaller schools in the past, even in places where the population has recently grown due to expansion of nearby cities. They don’t get their local schools back when that happens.
The town next to me, Arcadia CA was one of the first I know of to deal with this issue, and it damn near tore the town apart.
There was a male identifying as a girl. The school tried to make every accommodation by allowing the student to use the private teachers bathroom, etc. Nothing was good enough. The student was to be treated as female in every way, and the same as other female students, using the girls bathroom, locker room and attend overnights.
The school fought it; after much expense they lost in court. And there were a ton of expensive conditions like hiring specialists to help the transitioning student, etc.
It has been my experience that trans students and their parents refuse any compromise. It’s literally their Little Rock.

I’m sorry. My gym teachers never watched us in the locker room. They were within earshot, but not watching. Have expectations changed?
Ours kept smacking us on the butt with towels. One teacher was responsible for handing each of us a towel after we showered. To make sure we actually showered. We also had swimming class which was done in the nude. This was at Lane Technical in Chicago from 69 to 73.
I went to high school in the 70s. We had rows of lockers and then “gang showers”. Four shower heads off one pole. No curtains.
Above it all and over looking were offices with glass windows where the PE teachers oversaw.
Most of them were lesbians (not out) and we knew. It was worthy of a few titters and quickly covering in a towel when they were wandering around, but I don’t remember it being a big deal.

That passage of the Bible can be interpreted as being against sexual minorities but I interpret as the destruction that inevitably comes about when people abandon all restraint and devolve into their most primitive urges.

Yep, and don’t forget that somewhere a 10-year-old is being asked what gender they identify with and will then be subjected to a mutilating surgery and grotesque hormone therapy. I think the deity involved in your demonic dream is Moloch. Of course, all religions are equal in the wonderful world of multi-culturalism.
