Separating Arizona and Wisconsin discussions, I’ve laid out the reality of massive mail-in ballots, including many being dropped off, in their sealed, signed envelopes on Election Day. I have several friends who always do that. They want to fill out their ballots at the kitchen table, with all their research at hand. They also do not want to stand in line on Election Day.
No fraud involved, but their signatures on the envelopes have to be verified against the central record, as mine was when I mailed my ballot in. That takes time. Then you have to open the envelope and unfold the ballot and stack it with other ballots to be fed into the OCR machine that counts and registers the voter’s choices for each item on the ballot.
It is perfectly normal, in any close Arizona race, for the race not to be called for days. McSally’s last congressional race took weeks, as the last few mail-in and provisional ballots had to be verified and adjudicated.

Possibly. But I put nothing past Wisconsin Democrats in their grasping for power. Until I get a reasonable explanation, I am going to assume fraud. Occam’s Razor an’ all.

Even if this particular item proves true, it doesn’t alter my suspicion that the 2012 election was a fraud. I’m not the only one who thinks so. Something happened. And now they’re trying to do it again in Florida.
Much more on point is to simply cite the history of the county that is stealing the election. This was ground zero for 2000 Bush v. Gore.
What I find outrageous is the abject failure of Republicans, fully forewarned, with control of state government for years, to set strong limits and protections against the power of local election officials. All this hand waving, protesting, and court-papering tells me the Republicans, including the governor who may have the Senate seat stolen from under him, knew who the Democrats were and let them pull their same old game anyway.
Meanwhile, the Arizona lawsuit has been settled, subject to court approval. The rule will be that ALL counties get to call voters to verify questionable signatures on mail-in ballots.
I have a friend, who voted for the first time and dropped off his sealed ballot on Election Day. He has a physical condition that does not allow him to produce a legible or even consistent signature. If his ballot is in question, I want the officials to call him. I have to be careful myself, as my signature shifts as I write deliberately or rapidly. Mine was in a week in advance and I confirmed it had been signature verified.
This process, when we, as a state, encourage mail-in ballots, simply makes the results, in close races, take days or weeks. In a way, we are going back to the future, back to when physical ballots, in boxes, were in small towns and had to be carried by horse or wagon to have them all counted. The gap between Election Day and the start of the next Congress is an artifact of that era.
Mail ballots make it easier to cheat — in Texas when you hear about election vote fraud it is almost always with the mail-in ballots, because it takes a lot more nerve to try and cheat in front of election judges checking signatures and registration cards and/or voter IDs at a polling place. So any GOP-leaning state like Arizona that allows for the majority of voters not simply to vote early but to mainly vote by mail, it needs to also set up a massive system of mail ballot verification, or too many ballots are going to be either outright frauds, or ones where activists go to places where the elderly or disabled live and ‘help’ them cast their ballots (and you end up with the same signature handwriting on multiple ballots, if investigators look hard enough).
