Beyond the Golden Hour

I just read Beyond the Golden Hour by fellow Ricochet member @vinceguerra. It was absolutely outstanding. Well written, well paced, with characters that you feel like you’ve known for years, and realistic military action.  If you like Tom Clancy, et al., you will love this book. I bought it on Amazon (I can’t remember how much it cost. I think it was $3 or so. Believe me, it’s worth your $3.). Stayed up late to finish the darn thing. It was great. I hope he writes more.

I was going to write a nice review anyway, just to be nice. But this really is a great book. Go buy it, and read it, and tell me if I’m wrong. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed. Way to go Vince!  Hurry up and write the next one! I’ll buy it on the day it comes out. Thanks for a great read.

Thanks for the tip, Doc.  We’ll buy one as soon as Brown-Eyed Beauty, MotD, hangs up (from her phone rounds with a promising second-year of our close acquaintance.)

Read it a couple of weeks ago. I second the recommendation. Vince is the man.

Wow, thanks guys. I’m working on the follow up book now. I’m about a third of the way done and I hope to have it out early next year (Feb or March). There is a lot of research involved, and I always want it to be as realistic as possible. This one is set in Iraq during the surge, with several of the same characters, and also stateside with issues surrounding coming home.

Thanks again, and I would certainly appreciate reviews on Amazon and Goodreads.
