Is the Maryland Mass Shooting Perp Mentally Ill?

Moseley is now in the small minority of female mass shooters, with only around 4 percent being women, according to experts.
“If you look at mass shootings in the United States that have killed eight or more people, they’re all done by men,” Adam Lankford, a criminologist at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, told The Post.
Photos make it clear that Snochia Moseley (here’s Moseley’s Facebook photo) looks like a man. The UK’s Daily Mail is reporting the truth:
Moseley had multiple outstanding tickets for registration violations and a lack of insurance, and just last week, the courts were asked for permission to take the outstanding fines to trial.
But tickets were not her only problems – Coley told the Baltimore Sun Moseley had come out to her family as transgender in December 2016 and wanted to begin hormone therapy.
At present, it is not known if she did commence hormone therapy, or if Moseley, known to friends as ‘Sno’, used male or female pronouns.
Coley and Moseley were intending to create a documentary on Moseley’s life before she died, based off a manuscript the Rite Aid worker had written.
Other friends paid tribute to her on social media, claiming she had been consumed by mental illness and had reached out for help multiple times before shooting at her colleagues.
One friend, who asked to remain anonymous, told the Sun he was at first appalled to hear about the shooting, but immediately felt heartbroken when he discovered who was behind it.
Why can’t the media report this truth?
OMG, what a bunch of liars. Of course he was mentally ill. What was their first clue???

The long article in this morning’s Baltimore Sun didn’t mention this or even show a picture of the shooter.
I know that on many controversial news events in the US, if I want to know what’s really going on I need to check the British tabloids.
American journalism on the whole is disgusting. Really.

They think we can’t handle it.
I think actually it is because they are trying to pretend that transgender is so no big deal that it doesn’t even warrant a mention. Saying “woman” is enough. You have to accept him as a woman now no matter what.
It’s not we who can’t handle it, it is they who can’t handle it. Look at them pretending that they can’t see what is front of their own eyes!
I think it’s because they don’t want to mention “transgender” and mentally ill in the same sentence. Doesn’t fit the narrative. You can only be one or the other. Therefore, “mentally ill woman mass shooter” going forward. The cognitive dissonance is strong in progs.
This news story is related: an editor at a university paper in the UK re-Tweeted a blog post from the Spectator, “Is it a crime to say ‘women don’t have penises’?”
He asked people to retweet if they thought women don’t have penises.
For this thought-crime, he was fired as editor.
Actually I’m not certain if the perpetrator is biological male or female. I think female … If you search for ‘Snochia Mosley’ on the web, one result is a poetry website with some recently posted poems by someone of the same name. It’s a fairly unique name. I assume it’s the same person. One of the poems talks about ‘the man on the inside and the woman outside’. If this individual is transgender but biologically female, the media is breaking their own rules by referring to her as a woman. They should be talking about ‘him’ as a male. No?

I think the Mail story makes it clear that the perp has a penis but wants to be called a woman, by using “she” etc.
Wouldn’t, then, the poetry refer to the women inside and the man outside?

“Transgenders” are by definition mentally ill.
If she or he had gone to a modern psychologist, that psychologist most likely would have “diagnosed” (quotes intended to mean “so-called” because people use affordable psychologists who do not have formal medical training rather than using expensive psychiatrists) her or his problem to be gender confusion. Once treatment began, that’s all the psychologist and patient would have seen.
This happened for years when psychologists discovered alcoholism and dysfunctional families. They couldn’t see anything else. They missed symptoms of other disorders. It’s the way fads weave their way into any profession–to the detriment of individuals in need of genuine help.
There are two obsessions causing these problems to worsen for patients: the patients’ obsession with their identity and the psychologists’ obsession with gender dysphoria. It’s a toxic mix.
It’s disordered. That’s what disorder does.

The local Crabwrapper (The Capital where 5 of their journalists recently got shot by another mentally aggrieved person) carried the story, but the bit about being transgendered did not make mention until well into the text. However the first paragraph (fifth sentence) did mention that no motive for the shooting has been determined….
This is the same paper that recent wrote a semi glowing bit about a man dresses as a women read to children in a some program for adults reading to kids. Which I have no problem with adults reading to kids, except they wanted to portray men dressing as women as no big deal on the sly. To further cement the NBFD aspect they made sure to include some At a Boy(?) letters to the editors on how nice it was the next day or two, it just took a few weeks before some of the not so “congratulatory” letters to get published after the initial You Go Girl(?) accolades.
Editorially they are just short of a “let’s grab everyone gun” position, and that was before a disgruntled person, stung by their reporting of his behavior (he was a stalker), and the other two recent shootings in Maryland since that incident. Yet they cannot acknowledge that if one or two of their reporters packed heat in their open no walled office, that first guy would have been stop cold after the first round or two, since he announced himself by shooting the locked glass door down, which took a few shotgun rounds before he could enter the locked premises.
All of the recent shootings here in MD are from mentally disturbed individuals, and they are happy to make believe that cross dressing is not symptomatic of anything wrong in the noggin.
It would be truly progressive if we could return the days of institutionalizing of those with serious mental conditions, instead of normalizing them.
I haven’t found anything that unambiguously states the sex of Snochia Moseley — that is, whether this person was born male or female. Has anyone seen anything definitive?
This is absolute proof of the toxic nature of masculinity. Just identifying as a man can turn you into a killer.

There is only so much time and so many different variations to deal with. Thus, I use the blanket diagnosis of “sexual schizophrenia”. This sounds harsh but it makes things crystal clear. One can save the sympathy for individual cases.
First, we need to know what’s going on.

I got my version from the Capital Gazette, however I think a few years ago they were bought out by the Baltimore Sun. Not should how much independence they have from each other.
Not really. I still have no idea if the shooter is biologically male and considered “transitioning” to female, or is biologically female. In either case the transgender aspect is relevant.
