Another Trump Accomplishment
Remember back to the State of the Union this past January? The Democrats were in high dudgeon (when aren’t they?), incensed that Trump was “being divisive and exclusionary for saying “America” too many times during his State of the Union speech.”
A couple of soundbites:
MSNBC host Joy Reid brazenly trashed traditional American values and institutions with her tweet accusing President Trump of trying to force the normalization of himself by using “terms of the bygone era his supporters are nostalgic for” — namely, church, family, police, military and the national anthem.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called Trump’s unapologetically pro-America speech, which was widely approved by the American people in flash polls immediately afterward, “dangerous.”
Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., who recently compared Trump’s presidency to a time “right after the 1932 elections when Adolf Hitler was elected chancellor,” took umbrage at Trump’s statement that Americans, like the immigrants whose parents brought them here illegally as children, “are dreamers, too.”
Okay, fast forward to today. It seems that the Democrats, following a speech by Steny Hoyer, erupted into shouts of “USA! USA! USA!” on the House floor and whipped themselves into a delirious state. It was … dare I say it … reminiscent of a Trump rally. Ghastly.
Trump has turned the Democrat House into a nativist, jingoist bunch of racist bigots.
Chalk up one more victory in the President’s accomplishments column.

And after they and the Republican neocons engineer us into a patriotic hot war in the Ukraine, they will pull the same ju-jitsu move they did after the Iraq debacle. Republican neo-cons will be blindsided once again but will remain determined to see it through, using the children of the deplorables to fight and die for nothing. Then they will lose the next election to a leftist who will socialize another 15% of our economy and confiscate more money from the diminishing private sector. The think tanks and the pundits will severely criticize our new President and his policies but will be much comforted by his impeccable demeanor.
