Clueless in Gaza

A great day, the opening of our embassy in Jerusalem!

But, determined to overshadow, nay, blot it out, are certain poor, oh-so-understandably-violent, disadvantaged individuals from Gaza.

They are rushing to commit suicide by soldier, throwing themselves at Israel’s defensive weaponry, after being advised by leaflets and otherwise that they will be killed if they do so.

They want their land back! They demand total and unconditional withdrawal of Israeli settlements in Gaza!

Oh, wait … it’s been 13 years since, uh, they got all that. Anybody remember?

I can see why these people feel like they’ve got nothing to lose. They only get, like, two hours max of electricity a day, just to show you how wretched they are since 2005. Oh, they coulda had the benefits of the functioning infrastructure Israel had built and left them — but nah. Building tunnels was much more important.

And as the world knows, and as even Gazans recognize, it’s not Israel that is responsible for their present wretched condition — it’s Palestinians themselves. They are in charge and have been for 13 years.

Are there any cameras at the heavily guarded and fortified border between Gaza and Eqypt today? Any desperate folk merrily rolling burning tires at the border with their co-religionists’ sovereign country?

(Oh, that’s right: Since 2009, with US help, Egypt has been building a steel wall on that border. It’s workin’ great!)

Anybody ever do an analysis of how Egypt and Jordan have fared in terms of economic growth, social progress, or internal security since they got rid of lost those territories in 1967? Do the trendlines show any abrupt shifts around that year?

Too clever by far, Hang On. I only wish I had thought of it.

Hypatia, has there ever been a more stupid and self-defeating people than the Palestinians?

Their slogan seems to be this: “Let’s hate and try to kill Jews and forget about improving the lot of our people.”

The world would be improved if they all just disappeared one fine morning.

It’s going to take a major disrupter to fix the mess in the middle east.

And yet the news reports (yes, including Fox), the dufuses that they are, buy into the poor Palestinian narrative immediately.

    Yes,

    we knew they would.

That’s why it’s important to get the true story out. Thanks to everyone who Liked this, and I HOPE some people not on Ricochet may see it.

Hey! Gaza is NOT an occupied territory, okay?

Am I the only one who thinks that pi**ing off the Palestinians means we are doing the right thing? What has appeasing them ever gotten us or Israel?

Toicophobia: An irrational fear of walls. The nation’s newsrooms wait breathlessly for a cure.

It isn’t just Gaza – the Palestinian leadership for decades have been using their people as pawns in their attempt to win the world’s sympathy – to the ultimate detriment of the Palestinian people. From the lack of good infrastructure, schools, the arts – everything needed for a healthy, thriving society the leadership has purposely denied their people. And the ‘refugee camps.’ How long have they existed? Nearly one-third of the registered Palestine refugees, more than 1.5 million individuals, live in 58 recognized Palestine refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. They are there for a purpose and sadly that purpose has worked well to sway public opinion. Why is the world so blind to this evil???

This is all because of the media’s left-wing agenda. The lies about these stories are only covered because of the left’s control of the media combined with professionals not being allowed into the media business. Almost all are hacks these days.
