Quote of the Day: Whispers

“What I like in a good author isn’t what he says, but what he whispers.” — Logan Pearsall Smith

We live in a time of bright lights, screeching noise, and little rest. It’s a wonder anybody can hear anything. Whispers, however, resonate the deepest. May what you hear this week be the quiet voice of encouragement and hope.

Your guys did their duty against Bama this year, AuMom, while it’s pretty clear that the Vols didn’t.  But couldn’t you have roughed them up a bit while you were at it?

AUMom: What I like in a good author isn’t what he says, but what he whispers.

I think this is a great quotation. If an author is being blatant and unsubtle, the book is usually adhering to the majority in Sturgeon’s Revelation.

There’s a reason why clergy and the faithful seek a quiet place to meditate -you gave it – thanks!
