I agree with every pixel of this. But now does it all just get erased, consigned to some memory-hole? I read it from the link on Drudge yesterday, then went back to read it again a few hours later. It was gone. Now no mention of any of it from anywhere. Rush was apoplectic about it today, but he is easily dismissed as a crank by those who think he is anyway, and if they hear NOTHING about this anywhere else it all just goes on their pile of eye-rolling about Rush.
I think this is chilling. The Fast and Furious gun-running stuff can be made to just fade – even though Holder was held in contempt of Congress over his worminess about it. Lois Lerner? – poof! The video? – nothing to see here folks, move along.
And now, this extremely well-documented and backed-up account of what seems like a slam-dunk. NOTHING?? Okay, maybe there are two sides, there’s an explanation. What is it??
Isn’t it more important than the latest Star Wars earnings, or who leered at what 20 years ago?? Or if not, is it not at least worth our attention!??

My cynicism keeps me from being as excited by this admission because Treason needs trial and we will never get that.

It can’t be treason. Our Democrat ran government will find there was no intent or malice or some other reason why what Obama did was harmless and maybe even praise worthy. Just remember if you are a Democrat that rules and laws are for others.

I’m shocked this story has come out so soon, and in Politico no less.
Look at what happened to the Democratic Party, their party, during Obama’s eight years. He destroyed it, left it in ruins. Maybe this is the beginning of payback.
It will be back, bigger, stronger and more corrupt. It is just gathering its forces before destroying the GOP. The funny part is that with all the federal and state governments arrayed against the people / GOP they will still blame its destruction on Trump.

The only possible reason for this and for what you have written above is treason. If this is too strong a word for people I think they should have to explain what the goal was for Obama to provide aid and comfort to our enemies. But, the left won’t do that — they will just call this interpretation of events “extreme” and, of course, that doesn’t need any explanation. Why argue when you can avoid the whole discussion by calling people names.
I read the Politico piece and was highly impressed with the level of it. It’s basically the whistleblowers’ story, but well put together. I’d mention “Pulitzer” but since it exposed the wrong person…
This story has made my blood boil. TREASON in capital letters, bolded, and in italics. If there are any legal avenues to be pursued, Obama and whoever in his administration should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Isn’t it amazing how often this, this, this whatever (to avoid coc language) has been on the opposite side of American interests? He is a walking disgrace.
Why did he support the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt? Why did he support the Castro regime in Cuba? Why did he screw Poland and the Baltic states before he realized Russia despised him? Here’s a great National Review article by Matthew Contineti from a couple of years ago.
As an attorney for more decades than I care to remember, I learned, over and over again, the importance of creating a complete record; toward that end, let the record be clear that the title of my article, as I wrote it, was simply the word Treason. and the period was put there intentionally to signify that was all there was to it, period. I very deliberately titled it with that word alone because, as @manny points out, that word does, and should, make any American’s blood boil.
I do not know who took such liberty with a member’s own writing; especially as that re-write significantly “watered down” my original concept.
I would not have let anyone change a record in one of my cases without at least bringing it to the Court’s attention; I do not choose to let it go unnoticed in this venue, either.
