It’s extremely annoying that the concentration from the media seems to be over personalities and disagreements between politicians rather than having adult conversations over what is actually taking place, policy-wise, in the government. Also, we get very little international news. I find myself going to the BBC for international news. They are slightly to the left, but I give them credit for covering the world far better than our own networks and cable. Thank you for pointing out what is actually happening.
My pleasure, my friend. It is getting more difficult to find any real news on TV any more. On the Internet, Drudge Report helps a lot, since as a news aggregator he pulls in news from all over the world, and has links at the bottom of the page to news sites all over the world.
Thanks for bringing this up. Very fascinating.
Reminds me how Elaine Chao, in the last Bush admin, very quietly went around busting union heads under perfectly normal corruption charges – did wonders to deal with union racketeering. Never heard a thing about it in the media, but it was sure damned effective.
She was one of my favorites under Bush. Never went running for the cameras, just took care of business as Labor Chief. I still admire her, and Trump must have liked her too, because she’s now the Secretary of Transportation.
I need to check on her soon, see what she’s up to these days. I’ll bet she’s Making America Great Again!
The thing I can’t reconcile is, who she is married to. Can’t Trump unleash her on her husband. Bust his chops Elaine ! please ?
Frustrated as I am with Congress as a whole, I wouldn’t want McConnell’s job for all the world. Herding cats would be easier than wrangling votes out of a bunch of prima-donnas, half of whom seem to think that they should be President. Under the circumstances, I actually cut McConnell a helluva lot of slack.
It is good news that the Judicial system is working quicker. I hope that we find a legislative solution which give DACA kids legal status.
Agreed. Imagine if you had Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, AND John McCain to cajole and beg for their votes. It must be absolutely the worst feeling in the world to walk in to some conference room and see McCain that smug bastard sitting there, knowing he is going to shoot down everything you say, and then watch him go running to Chuck Schumer and tell him everything you just said.
Probably going home to Elaine is his sanity check of the day.
Great post, Patriot. We don’t hear these stories, and this one is very encouraging. Thanks!
Continuances even for illegals who fail to show up in court made the system a joke. The fact that just following law and procedure is making such a difference is yet another indication of the degree of perverse lawlessness of the Obama years.
Great post , @jctpatriot! Thank you for the reporting on our Wins!
DACA people have a legal status-they are illegal aliens. They should return to their home countries and use the educations they stole from American taxpayers to make their home countries livable, just, and prosperous.
Do you think that bank robbers’ children should get to keep their parents’ ill-gotten gains?
“DACA kids legal status” is Leftist dog-whistle for “Amnesty”.
I love your comment, Mrs. Ink.
