Brandon Michael Darby on Las Vegas, Andrew Breitbart, Antifa, and Mexican Drug Cartels
As America and the world learn about the horrific events in Las Vegas, and news is being updated as we record here on Monday, we had Brandon Darby provide his perspective on the tragedy, the politicians who immediately politicized it, his relationship with Andrew Breitbart and the Mexican Drug Cartels. Brandon Darby is Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief at Breitbart Texas. After we stopped recording we learned about Tom Petty being near death. A special tribute at the end.
Brandon was the subject of Jamie Meltzer’s 2012 documentary film, Informant, about his experience infiltrating Occupy Wall Street. The film won Best Documentary at the Austin Film Festival. Brandon has also been very involved in detailing the threats from the Mexican Drug Cartels. Brandon is a co-founder of the Cartel Chronicles project with Ildefonso Ortiz and Steve Bannon.

“Brother, I will make you whole.” A beautiful tribute to Andrew Breitbart, and a revealing explanation of how the far left really works. Brandon Darby is on the front line of the corruption, organized crime and mass murder on our southern border, and I was stunned to hear his stories of the influence of the cartels, and how media and politicians make the problem worse. This guy has so much heart; thanks for interviewing him, Dave.
Your opening monologue really hit me, Dave. Thank you for your heartfelt response to the dark tragedy of the day.
Finally caught up to this. I agree with Melissa on the opening; strong work.
This guy is another in the parade of Breitbart connections. From every story I’ve heard, it seems that if you met him, he became part of your life. In most cases a big part.
And the point about the changing face of the point of the leftist spear was well taken. Having the media in your pocket is helpful in so many ways.
