Andrea Mitchell Goes Wild

The headline on Politico says it all:

‘People Just Flat-Out Lie’

Andrea Mitchell’s covered seven White Houses. Then came Trump. ‘I’ve never seen anything like this,’ she tells The Global Politico.

After eight years of an Administration laughing in our faces as they lied through their teeth, I think Andrea just can’t handle the Truth:

“It is totally sui generis. I’ve never seen anything like this,” Mitchell says. “I have never seen anything like this where people just flat-out lie. You know, black is white and white is black, and they mislead you. It’s really disconcerting to see the podium in the White House briefing room being used to mislead or misdirect or obfuscate.”

You have to love this pile of droppings:

“I’ve covered seven presidents now,” Mitchell tells me, “and have not endeared myself to any of them. That’s the job. We are adversarial.”

Well yeah, but only because Hillary didn’t win. I love to pull out this picture from my archives. It is Andrea when her Queen gave the press corps a moment of her time. The look on her face is one of absolute Love.

I want a woman in my life who looks at me the way Andrea looks at Hillary.

The comments to that Politico article show how wide the divide is between the two parties. There is just no communication.

Darn! I forgot the punch line!

“I want a woman in my life who looks at me the way Andrea looks at Hillary.”

Oh heck, I’m tweeting that out.

I love it, Lily Bart, but if we start posting videos of the Obama Administration’s lies, we’ll break Ricochet. Bandwidth, you know!

That was more a joke about the number of lies told in the last 8 years, rather than a criticism of you, Lily. :-)

I thought Bush derangement syndrome was bad. It was followed by Obama adoration syndrome that was dangerous to a republic. And now Trump uber derangement syndrome borders on the silly/scary — given how it requires a truly alternate reality even beyond Obama adoration syndrome. It’s like the pendulum is swinging wildly as opposed to being metronomic or even moving toward rest.

I am just so glad you were referencing the Politico title and not your own.

The world is just not ready for Andrea Mitchell/Alan Greenspan hacked photos.

Really, another Mideast ground war would be less damaging.

Nah, she’s married to Alan Greenspan. I think she only has “those” kinds of feelings for Hillary, her Queen. Gives a new meaning to “Earning her Presidential Kneepads” doesn’t it? Ewwwww…

Andrea Mitchell thinks she was ‘adversarial’ to the Obama Administration?!!  A whore offering freebies on a her favorite federal holiday is twice as ‘adversarial’ as Andrea Mitchell was for the last 8 years.

The crazed swinging of the pendulum is caused by the fact that the media are genuinely clueless to their own bias.  I think they really believe they are even-handed. They are clearly delusional – and Andrea Mitchell is the perfect example of their delusion.

    JcT,

There’s an explanation for everything. Andrea is telepathic. Republicans and Democrats emit brain telepathic waves at different frequencies. Andrea can only perceive Republican telepathic waves. Thus she is sensitive to the slightest alteration from full perfect truth only with Republicans. When a Democrat lies in nauseatingly obvious fashion about the most major issues of our time, Andrea doesn’t have a clue. Meanwhile, the most trivial transgression of a Republican plays so loudly in her head that she shrieks in pain.

Right about this point Kirk and Spock encounter Andrea. Spock applies the Vulcan mind meld and they understand about Andrea’s hysterical shrieking problem. The enterprise takes a slight detour to an out of the way planet and drops Andrea off there. This planet is inhabited with only Democrats. Andrea immediately calms down. This sets up the sequel episode when the enterprise returns 10 years later.

You see there is an explanation for everything. A really really bad explanation but still it’s an explanation.

    Regards,

    Jim

If Politico wasn’t part of the propaganda arm of the DNC, they would have asked her, “Tell us some things that are absolute lies that you heard from the podium, and don’t include that stupid crap about the size of the inauguration crowd. Tell us some actual, provable lies, not just something said with which you disagree, please, and we will run with that story, too.”

Politico knew better than to ask that question, because after much bloviating, Andrea would have basically said, “I got nothing.”

Now that there’s finally an appropriately named thread on Ms. Mitchell, I can reveal for the first time (Brush with Greatness Alert!) that I once offered to buy her a drink in a DC saloon in about 1977 when she worked for local WTOP and the city was overrun by Carterites.  After an almost imperceptible once-over, presumably to determine if I was someone worth knowing from Georgia, I received a polite “No thank you,” which sent me on to the next white-wine drinking female about a foot away.  Sadly, it appears to have been all downhill for her since this unwise three-word rejection.  I could comment further on her wardrobe, but I’m saving that for my tell-all memoir.

What is it exactly that makes you think Democrats have brain waves? Lack of Democrat brain activity could also explain your observation.
