Ramirez Magic
I awoke in the middle of the night, and as is my bad habit, I checked my email and found this with a note from Michael Ramirez:
Michael usually sends both the fine line drawing and a color version at the same time. I then make a page and write up the SEO, titles, find or write some content, then publish the color cartoon to a page that can be shared on social networks. The artwork becomes part of an ever growing library that is indexed by date and searchable by keywords on the website.
But today was special. This was about [the comedian] Rachel Maddow, who kept liberals waiting all evening for a big reveal only to offer a dud of a climax. Michael was asking me to wait for the color version, which usually takes a few hours of hard work on his part to complete. At 5 AM, I put the page together, which in retrospect, might not have been the best plan, and prepared fans by posting on Facebook that a big reveal was coming later in the morning, and they might want to share it with Rachel, lol.

Nah, her fans will cheer her, and go on undeterred. On what basis did they ever give her credence in the first place?
Here’s the link for anyone interested in seeing Dave’s chat with Michael
Due to multiple requests, Michael is having a few signed prints made. They are available HERE
Great cartoon. The point, however, is the leaking of extremely confidential information and the subsequent publishing.
LGBT = Liberty, Guns, Beer, Trump
Take back the alphabet!
Make the alphabet great again!
I love you guys :)
We luv ya too, darlin’! 8-)
Watching all this unfold I keep having this nagging suspicion. Could Trump be smarter by a half and planted this return in some witless journalist’s mailbox? Knowing the MSM’s penchant for sensationalism and groping for any straw to bring Trump down would they not be expected to overplay their hand?
The press made a career out of making a characature out of Reagan while all the time he played them like a fiddle. Is this same song, second verse?
I’ve been told by different sources that Trump is playing 3-dimentional chess, and also that he is a genius at marketing himself (that one is obvious). The Press is neither good at marketing or terribly good at strategy. At CPAC @davesussman and I witnessed an all-out assault that left the press gaping in anger. I think Trump has declared war on the way we get our information, and knows exactly how the main stream media folks are going to react brfore they do, making him a dangerous opponent. He also does not appear to have an albattross of owed-favors weighing him down, making him very unpredictable. The outcome may depend more on his personal character than many are comfortable with.
