Recommended by Ricochet Members Created with Sketch. They Are Going to Try to Steal the Election

Jill Stein has managed to raise $4.5 million to fund recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. How someone who received ~1.5% of the vote has standing to do this I don’t know. But this means only one thing. The Clinton machine is working on stealing the election.

Any recount effort is a clear path to fraud. I imagine Democratic operatives generating thousands of ballots that will be “found” as part of the recount in each state. We will be back into the craziness of the 2000 election with uncertainty and chaos reigning. Call me paranoid, but I can see nothing good in the clear attempt to sow uncertainty and open the door to massive fraud.

What is Jill Stein’s deal? This is the most stupid idea she’s had in a while-and we all know that is saying a lot.

If they even dare try this (which I believe they might), the entire election would have to be done over. How many millions of conservatives in California and other blue states stayed home because their vote never matters in the electoral college? And how many Hillary voters were dead or illegal aliens? They might not want to find out the answer.

They are trying it and it will be as selective as Al Gore was when he only wanted the counties where he might gain re-counted.

You know there are boxes of ‘forgotten’ votes in the trunks of Dems cars all over the country.

Well it will be very interesting. I wonder if they can put this thing together while Obama still has any power.

The emphasis is on try. It ain’t happening. I’ve been drowning out the whining with a good set of headphones and some Miles Davis.

I was there in S. FL. for the 2000 election. The one big thing that the Democrats did was control the rules. They set the idea that a ballot with a “hanging chad” was valid and just needed to be “interpreted”. Ballots with chads should have been thrown out. Also, they were able to not count hundreds of military mail in ballots. If there is a recount again, they will insist on their “rules” again. Rules that are a direct path to overturning the vote.

After the meltdowns in various cities, after the contentiousness of this election, Democrats supporting this are opening a can of worms that they will regret ever even considering. This isn’t meant as a threat, but just a realistic observation of events. Liberal myopia is so awful any more that they haven’t any consideration of consequences of their actions.

They don’t care about the consequences as long as they are in control.

Look, Trump is not and will not be President till he is sworn in. Until then anything is possible. If they think they can take the election they will. If they can corrupt the electoral college they will. Even if they fail they delegitimize Trump’s Presidency and make his goals harder to achieve.

The date is passed for seeking a recount in PA, AFAIK. Wisconsin is today.

Even if by some bizarre circumstance, there were recounts in Wisconsin and Michigan–you have to show cause–Trump would still have 280 with
Pennsylvania. They’d have to go to court in PA, which is a tougher road than a recount and not comparable to 2000 where there was an obvious dispute. I’m not sure about the filing deadline for a court challenge.

Reminds me of a very funny story from a friend. He had gotten into West Point but was apprehensive about spending four years there and was on a visit during the winter.

A group of seniors were building a snowman when the cadet showing him around told him to watch for a second – as soon as the seniors were finished a freshman ran up with his sword and yelled “There can be only one!” and cut the snowman’s head off then took off running with the seniors in hot pursuit.

Apparently the freshman had been told to do this by seniors in his cadet company for a prank, and it’s then when my friend knew he’d do just fine.

Here’s to hoping that Trump made a deal that she go away all frumpy and quiet and he (personally) won’t seek any new investigations into their foundation or email. Given what I’ve read lately regarding the foundation donations, the Clinton crime family foundation has been and will continue to take huge donation hits as the money dries up from foreign nations.

As miserable as it often was, cadets are great at creating their own fun. The was always hijinx and shenanigans afoot.
