Your friend Jim George thinks you'd be a great addition to Ricochet, so we'd like to offer you a special deal: You can become a member for no initial charge for one month!
Ricochet is a community of like-minded people who enjoy writing about and discussing politics (usually of the center-right nature), culture, sports, history, and just about every other topic under the sun in a fully moderated environment. We’re so sure you’ll like Ricochet, we’ll let you join and get your first month for free. Kick the tires: read the always eclectic member feed, write some posts, join discussions, participate in a live chat or two, and listen to a few of our over 50 (free) podcasts on every conceivable topic, hosted by some of the biggest names on the right, for 30 days on us. We’re confident you’re gonna love it.
Hooray for Ricochet! And we are so much richer for iWe’s presence, truly.
I am not benefiting in quite the same way as having R members working with me (although I have had the bonuses of international visitors, a free boxed set of the Aubrey-Maturin books, and I hope to borrow a trombone from another Member), but I know Papa Toad appreciates the outlet for my mind and my sense of humor.
And I thought Ricochet was a hobby that I was wasting too much time on. Little did I know I was building relationships that have led to essentially two completely different and incredibly exciting career paths. One that uses my physics background after I figured I never would, the other which is receiving guidance to become an independent financial adviser, something I’ve long been interested in. Ricochet is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
You’re welcome. I accept checks or cash.
You effusively shameless “complimentarian”, you…Spreading grace wherever you go. Keep it up!
What I appreciate the most because it is so hard to find people that are willing to listen and discuss with, is the intersection of politics and religion. For many (I would argue everyone even if they don’t realize it or view it as a religious viewpoint) of us our Religion defines our politics. I would argue there is no better indicator of politic leanings and voting behaviors than someone’s theology.
Ricochet is an incredibly valuable place. For all of the nastiness that has surrounded the election, with its’ various and sundry controversies, the people who virtually walk these halls enrich all of us with their knowledge, experiences and humor. Thanks to all!
Wow, what a day brightener! I had no idea of all that good going on here. And I needed this today.
Thank you, iWe. And certainly you have blessed all of us with your diverse collection of posts–from current events to the Bible. I know that I am enormously grateful to you and Ricochet, for everything I’ve learned and shared. What a gift everyone has been!
Ricochet is a special place. We take it for granted at our peril. (hmm…that could apply to other things as well.)
Business opportunities? How did I miss out on that? :)
Best decision in my life was the day I signed up for Ricochet. Have not written a lot of new messages, but have certainly enjoyed commenting on others. The variety of “conservative” thought on here is always both interesting and challenging to understand, and the ability to have that without the ad-hominem attacks has been wonderful. Meeting and getting to know IWe and many others is what makes this place so valuable.
iWe, can you share a bit about what the business is about?
Those who asked: check your PM.
A lot of Ricochet has sucked lately, but not this.
It’s a center/right place for conversation on the web that charges members a small monthly fee to participate….oh, you mean iWe’s business
The thanks should go to iWe for posting. I look forward to your posts as they constantly open up new ways of thinking for me. At some point, I’ve gotta try to make it up to Baltimore. In the meantime, keep up the posts. We’ll all be waiting to read them.
