If Dems Will Rig a Debate for Clinton, What Won’t They Do to Win?

No matter what the election outcome next week, the media will be big losers. This campaign season has seen much of the media rip off their veneer of objectivity, too often acting instead as an unofficial campaign arm working to elect Hillary Clinton.

The latest revelation — that the town hall moderator overseeing a Democratic primary debate gave CNN contributor Donna Brazile a peek at expected questions, and Brazile then fed Hillary Clinton’s campaign staff a question expected to come up in the primary debate against Bernie Sanders — confirms the too cozy relationships between the politicians and the so-called journalists and officials who are supposed to be helping Americans get unbiased information about candidates.

Bernie Sanders supporters should be outraged: We’ve seen time and again how the DNC was never going to allow their guy a fair shot at the nomination.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz had to resign from her post at the DNC after emails revealed she was favoring Clinton and working against Sanders. Now we know that, at the same time, Brazile at CNN was proving her Clinton loyalist bona fides by abusing the system and rigging the game to bolster Clinton over Sanders.

The DNC must have been laughing themselves silly over the fast one they were pulling to elevate Brazile, who was putatively objective when it came to Democratic primary contenders, to dispose of Wasserman-Schultz’s double dealing. Instead we now learn what insiders already knew: that Brazile was a corrupt Clinton partisan herself. Meanwhile, Wasserman-Schultz went to … Clinton campaign staff.

Oh the small incestuous little world of Washington.

Americans now have reason to wonder about the other debates and who else in the so-called unbiased media world was seeking to assist the Clinton campaign by sneaking her a preview of questions or tilting the news in her favor. Such thinking is no longer cynical; it’s just realistic as we’ve seen just how widespread the corruption and bias goes.

And if people are willing to cheat in the debates, what else wouldn’t they justify cheating on to accomplish their ends?

It is precisely the repeated revelations of cheating at debates, inciting violence at rallies, and collusion between the DNC and their dirty tricksters, that lead many Americans to believe — not unreasonably — that, given just a whiff of deniability, these same people would unhesitatingly attempt to rig the election.

Count on Hillary Clinton to respond as she always does: Deny any knowledge of the wrong doing, (because you see, you can’t actually prove that she actually saw fill-in-the-blank), blame someone else, (the Russians have become the Democrat’s iteration of “the dog ate my homework”), and distract the American people with the idea that there is a vast conspiracy out to get her (projection, anyone?)

When first caught, Brazile followed the same playbook, deflecting from the veracity of the emails and distracting with claims of persecution.

She wanted voters to think it’s nothing but a dirty political trick to expose the ugly truth of such back-dealing, but in a different era this was called whistle-blowing and celebrated.

There is a whole cohort of politically powerful or connected people in Clinton’s orbit who apparently think rules and boundaries are for other people, not for them. Wikileaks, among others, is hoisting them on their own petard.

The American people have quite had it with this privileged, hypocritical crew.  In one week, to paraphrase Michael Moore, watch many of them lob in a legal molatov cocktail called Donald J. Trump to blow up entire stinking the swamp.

Nothing. There’s nothing they won’t do.

    Collude with the press.

    Engage in voter fraud.

    Accept foreign contributions.

    Foment violence.

    Fake stories.

It’s a blood sport to them, and they mean to win at any cost.

I’m reminded of a joke from college:

A freshman co-ed is failing a class. She goes to the professor’s office in a sexy outfit.

“Oh professor, I would do … anything to pass this class.”

The professor looks at her and replies, “Would you … study?”

There is nothing that the Clinton’s will not do to win. But what about the crooks/supporters holding positions of power in our government? I would rest more easily if I didn’t know how corrupt the entire government was. Just read the Podesta emails with government officials.

What amazes me is how stupid the press is.  It is only a matter of time before the State becomes so big that it will crush the so called free press.  At this point in time they are helping the Left  to establish that the free exercise clause of the first amendment does not extend into the public square.  They are doing this to help the State destroy the Catholic Church.

After the State eliminates the Church the State will establish that the freedom of the press only applies to a non-profit press.  Once the press enters the public square it can be regulated by the State.

Not just the media, Heather. The officials in the Obama administration as well. We just learned from Wikileaks that the man in the Department of Justice put in charge of the Clinton investigation by the Obama administration was keep the Clinton campaign advised concerning the investigation.

It is utterly amazing to me that all fellow Democrats fall right into line.  Has anybody found an exception?  Even Bernie, the victim of the cheating!  And why is Donna Brazil not fired when Debbie WS was fired for essentially the same thing, maybe not even so serious.  Maybe because Bernie is a fraud and doesn’t even care.  So why should the DNC?

Its really creepy, they all get absorbed into the Borg, and turn on a dime, all at once.  They are really into that tribal hive sort of mindset.

In the meantime, everybody everywhere can see that they all lie and all cheat.  And they don’t treat actual, individual women that well either.

My brother always says that if people will cheat and murder for drugs, why wouldn’t they cheat and murder for executive political power? Can’t say I’ve come up with an answer.

Years ago, I’d have replied that checks and balances would be enough to prevent concentrating power on any single agency, but the last few years have proved to me that there has been a systematic stripping of those checks and balances. The media doesn’t speak truth to power; instead it whispers the questions to Hillary. I can sympathize with the need to challenge Trump, but not by abandoning their correlative need to challenge Hillary — which is what they’ve done.

You know, if I had to keep cheating to help a candidate, sooner or later it would occur to me that this candidate is such a lightweight that she can’t survive on her own. But of course, that will never bother the media, because helpless and dependent is really what media wants from Hillary anyway.

Win or lose, conservatives need to stay in full campaign mode after the election.  We have to fight hard against Leftist mass media while the evidence is still warm about their collusions and coverups for Hillary, and the way they withheld dirt on Trump so as to release it in September and October.   Remind them of the Pavlovian response they had to Trump’s dark dark dark speech at the GOP Convention.

Most of all, pound them for their violations of the ethics of journalism.   Mock them and scoff as they try to object.   They are Leftists and have acted as Leftist partizans.   Even their own customers must recognize this.

Several of you have mentioned wikileaks; a friend suggested http://www.mostdamagingwikileaks.com/, and I share it as a very helpful compendium by topic of the most damning aspects of the leaks regarding all things Clinton.

Correct.  Any pardons for Hillary or whatever else to “heal the national wounds” or whatever need to be out off until after Democrats and their lackeys suffer some serious and tangible setbacks.

    And even then probably not.

Of course Donna ( basketball playing , Christian woman) Brazille is the one that got caught , no one really thinks this the first time do they? How about Crowley just happens to have the exact transcript and Obama knows she does? George , contraception out of nowhere,  Stepanopoulus, Anderson Cooper asking Trump about groping, how many times? This goes back to Hewett in 1960, debates are set up to be a kill box for Republicans, if I headed the RNC I would announce right after the election that there will be no more debates no matter who the candidates are. Nixon learned his lesson , there were none after 1960 until 1976 when Ford stepped into the kill box. Reagan only had one with Carter and none with Mondale. Don’t listen to the idiot Washington consultants.

The situation with the compliant Democrats reminds me of the “show trials” held in Moscow during the ‘Thirties while Stalin’s purges were blowing and going, when the defendants almost uniformly “confessed” their sins in front of the court.  André Vishinsky, if I remember correctly, was the prosecutor.

And, as to what will they not do?  Recall the enforced starvation of the kulaks during the ‘Twenties and the concentration camps in Germany.  When leftist totalitarians commence their work, there is, truly, nothing that they will not do to achieve their goal, and the people for whose benefit they supposedly are acting always bear the brunt of their measures.  This crowd of would-be Leninists is no different from the earlier ones.

Why hasn’t anyone in the press asked what happened inside the campaign when they received the questions?  That seems like an obvious question to me.  I understand they’d obfuscate, but it would be helpful to get them on the record.  Why didn’t they come forward when they received the questions?   They should have been hounded about this for days until the truth came out.  Instead, everyone in the press is looking at their shoes again and trying to make it go away.  Four years of this is going to be awful.
