Give a Listen: The Cop Life Podcast
With law enforcement matters so much in the news lately, I wanted to call attention to a podcast that I regret to say I only recently discovered. The Cop Life Podcast is produced by an officer identified only as Keith, a 15-year veteran of a medium-sized department in Texas (he is careful not to identify the city). After listening to the three latest episodes (he puts out a new one every other week or so), it’s clear to me that Keith is a thoughtful, intelligent, and compassionate officer, the very type of cop you want coming to your aid should you find yourself in need of one.
Each episode is a combination of anecdotes from his recent patrol shifts, explanations for the layman on why police officers do some of the things they do, and discussions on how he balances the demands of work and family. If you’re curious about police work, the Cop Life Podcast is well worth your time.

A Twitter follower mentioned it to me, for which I’m very grateful. Keith needs to be famous.
